False statement . He never played at Fairview nor even practiced at Fairview . He tried 2 different times to enroll at Fairview , both times Fairview denied his enrollment . He never even as much went to school 1 day at Fairview . Get your facts straight please

What a joke these rankings are .

I'm not saying this with a bias against Raceland , but Raceland has really unimpressed me thus far . While i agree they should be ranked in the top 10 , i feel Hazard should be ranked ahead of Raceland . Swap them then i say this is a spot on top 10 .

Number 3 is a JR named Washington . He has been in Fairview's school system , but this is his 1st year playing football ever . 1st team D gave up 7 after we flubbed the opening Kickoff giving the ball to EC with very awesome field pos , than later EC ran a kickoff back . Halftime score 42-14 , FHS played 2nd , & 3rd team D the entire 2nd half . 1st team O stayed in until the 4th quarter but ran very conservative in the 2nd half . EC has a QB who looks to be very promising. I do however feel like EC had some flags thrown against them that i just dont understand why they were thrown . Good luck rest of the way to EC

Fairview eased up very early in this game . The 1st team D only gave up i think 7 points , BUT have a lot of room for improvement . Fairview will take some lumps this year . On a bright now FHS QB Roy threw for 399 yards , & 3 tds , gaining most of this in the 1st half

Of course i would want to say my own school's stadium , but i wont ,& will be impartial . The old Putnam stadium was an awesome place to see a game , but by far the worst parking . Tanks in Ironton Ohio another good one if you watch from the home side .

I just want to talk football without the jabs , & assumption its everybodys fault in Westwood/Fairview , because it is not

I dont have an issue with the truth , but when making an opinion at least be classy , but classy seems to elude you in particular. And no the blame isnt every adults fault in Westwood or Fairview. That would be like me saying everyone in Raceland is classless just because of you , Tj , & Bill Tom. I myself have 0 respect for a few in Raceland. Iculd put out how certain kids made disgusting raps & still was able to play without penalty. Or how Raceland had kids in the system that lived in Ohio , or was from another state that was in foster care just like a couple Fairview players were . Yes i do know the only cars that are from Ohio or Wva is coaches cars. Im extremely close to the Fairview program to the point you would know my name. I cant say for sure that any kids lived in any houses that Bill owned , nor can i deny , because i honestly dont know one way or another . I can confirm 100% positive that 3 particular kids were blamed thave lived in housing having been owned by Bill that i 100% know for fact they didnt . 2 bought houses , &still live in those houses that wasnt previously owned by Bill or anyone inside of Fairview . The other rented a house that was not owned by anyone connected to Fairview . That was investigated because someone made false accusations. No i dont think everything was kosher , but i also know not everyone is to blame . Ram at least your last post was little more classy , & your son Little Ram i will accept your apology, & add i thought you was a good lineman .

Its called acting with class , & not jumping to conclusions just to start crap . I was told this site was about being dedicated to high school sports in a very classy way . Hey Little Ram tell me just facts of allegations Fairview was investigated for ? & back it up with proof . Fairview only investigated for 1 thing , & that had nothing to do with any type of recruitment , or players from West Virginia . It had to do with one player who was from Ashland , lived in Westwood , & was orginially cleared by the KHSAA to play . Now ive spoon fed you please tell the rest of the story with FACT not rumor .

According to some Racelanders dont matter still lives in Ohio . Racelanders gave Fairview heck over a play that was born & raised in Westwood , but moved to West Virginia . That no longer matters since that player is back living in Westwood , & his parents always owned the house they live in then & now . People investigating went & made sure they were living there also . Wonder what they will say about this kid at Raceland?

i can see people love to witch hunt , & wont let stuff go. Oh so classy . For your information all , but one of Fairview coaches lives in Ohio , or West Virginia. HC Fred Ray-Ohio OC Wilcoxin - Ohio DC Barry Scragg- Wva Asst Hoppy - Wva & Coach Scraggs son sometimes will help out , & he lives in Wva . So there is at least 5 cars in any given day at Fairview practices that would be from Ohio , or West Virginia. Also 1 more thing i know Raceland has 2 players on their team that is from Ohio , & at least one i know for a fact that still lives in Ohio.

we originally had 36 sign up , & a few more came out as practices went on . Had a couple more come out yesterday when school started.

Fairview had a intrasquad scrimmage tonight . Had 42 dressed out . Fairview scrimmages Sheldon Clark , & Magoffin Co next Friday at Sheldon Clark

I noticed you didnt quote my whole comment . I didnt say parents lie , or they dont know some things . I was simply making a point that parents do not know all things. Ram said he had heard from a parent that Fairview only had 23 players come out for football , & i said parents did not know how many had signed up .thats something parents wouldnt know. Coaching staff was well aware some wouldnt be at the 1st few practices but they had signed up. For an outsider you have strong slandering words about some people such as teachers. Ive been in Westwood , & around Fairview my entire life. I agree you cant trust the board they all need gone, Bill Musick needs gone , & the other 2 problems are already gone, but dont blame everybody in Westwood or working atFairview thats taking things too far . They're many good people in Westwood , & many good people working at Fairview.

It is not a KHSAA investigation , its a OEA investigation . This investigation has to do with the Super & how he resigned then was rehired , as well some missing money , not football violations

Just thought of something , we did have 2 others who enrolled that are brothers , but they came from Spring Valley not Midland . Their family legally moved into district , & are extremely good character kids as is their parents good charcter folks . Their family is Fairview alumni , so they wanted their kids to attend Fairview . One is a Freshmen , the other is a Junior , but neither one is expected to be impact players .the older one may be a role player on D , but again niether one will be impact players .

We had one to enroll who did move here , but that kid for reasons i wont say on here is already gone from Fairview .

can never rely on a parents word . Not saying they were lying just saying parent is just an outsider looking in , & dont know everything going on . At the end of the dead period we did have about 23-25 "show up" for practice , but we had 36 sign up , & we were well aware that some wouldnt be there for practices the 1st few days due to various reasons such as vacations with family , to some were in a summer work program that hadnt ended yet .

again no! We have had a few from West Virginia try to enroll , but they all have been turned down . If they dont live in Boyd Co they are told no !

while i wouldnt put Fairview in the top 10 , i will point out you are wrong about a few things . 1st while Fairview numbers are down this year they do have more than 23 players , we have 33 and just might have around 37 before the week is out . Also during our meeting today it was told despite rumors the football program is not being investigated for any violations at all , & if anything comes from the current investigation it will not in anyway affect the football program .
