Absolutely a dress code. It's not going to kill anyone to wear a pair of khakis slacks, a dress shirt and tie. At the least, khakis and a uniform colored polo. And let me tell you, these days a dress code is even more essential on the girls' side. Otherwise, look out!:eek:

Well said. I know exactly what you mean. I want to watch a good basketball game...not a street brawl. Refs need to assert control from the beginning of the game. As others have stated, most times when a team is playing dirty, the other team has to either get physical in return - or take a chance on leaving the game on a stretcher. If the refs would make it known that it wasn't going to be tolerated early on, the game wouldn't get out of control. I've been to many games where they let bloody murder go on and then tried to reign it in at the very end. Too little, too late.
