So you are sitting in the stands keeping track of his yards throughout the whole entire game? Of course not. I invite you to come to my house and watch game film and we will do yardage together. Two games at over 300 (Ludlow-305 and Eminence-362) yards help average out a couple of games with slightly less than 200 yards. You really should have to have something to back yourself up before you make accusations about one of the most outstanding running backs in the state. I have said numerous times that Bird is the best pure RB in the entire state in the class a level. Bird is tremendous and probably top 10 runners at any level. Do you all realize that total yards is from the line of scrimmage and not where he gets the ball in the back field? Just kidding Bird is good if not great, you all should be proud of all his accomplishments.

Bird must have had a couple games of about 400 yrds, because I have seen him play 3 times in person and he was no where near the 250yrds a game.

Good win for Trimble. Hope #5 is OK. I don't mean to always argue with you TBG but unless you counting the pregame warm-up there is no way Bird had 200 yds. I was there and had him for maybe 140. Glad to here Hawkes might get a chance to play at the next level, can you give us some insight on who might be looking at him and Bird.

What about one of the present coaches at the three schools that are consolidating? They might have been on that list, but I am not familiar with Cawood and Cumderlands coach's names. I know the Evarts coach and he would be a good hire.

Any word on a football coach? I know a couple of good names, but I'll hold off until I see a few on here and see if they match up. Should be a very competitive school in all sports.

If my memory serves me right didn't they have a pretty darn good QB back in the early 90's? I believe his name was T. Browning. I know for a fact their current QB can play, I personally saw him torch a few teams last year. Keep up the good work EHS--their coach is class act. :ylsuper:

No it wasn't all purpose. His totals were 21 carries for 282 yards.

Carlton's total---when added up---will be more like 250. He had td runs of 80,35,24, and 40.

Was Gallatin not tired? Their defense was on the field for about 70% of the first half. Gallatin Co. out played them in every aspect of the game. Owens defense was good but to me it looked like the team that made the adjustments at half time would win the game, and the final was 29-0. Enough said.
