Asa Crozier also did not play for the Wildcats tonight. I had Washington with 36 and Wagoner with 6. Everything else is the same as I had.

Mike is another fine freshman that doesn't get alot of recognition. I like his game and intensity. He also may be the best freshman defender also! This Freshman class 2013 is really loaded with many kids who can and love to play the game!! May very vell be the deepest class that Kentucky has seen in quite awhile.

I really like Saunders game at Brossart. He is another high IQ player and does alot of things that do not show up in the scorebook.

Mason Monroe has had some nice games against Clark County 17pts, Holmes, Brossart and Ryle. He was MVP of the game for Pendleton County in the Bluegrass-Buckeye Charity Classic at NKU's Bank of Kentucky Center. I am not sure if a freshman has ever won this award in this classic before. This freshman seems to really get fired up and plays very well in the "BIG" games.

The Wildcats traveled to Union last night and got another victory over the Jaguars in a couple weeks. Senior Dillon Green led the Wildcats with 20 and Freshman Mason Monroe chipped in 16 points to lead the Wildcats with the 69-49 victory.

Since when is 6'4 or 6'5 tiny?

I will share this stat with you. Bracken shot 8 for 28 from the 3pt line. .285% Hamilton was 6-18 from the 3pt line. Pendleton shot 6-13 from the 3pt line. .462% Bracken County did not use their size advantage.

This was a vey fun game to watch.

If I remember correctly it was a 2 point victory on the Bears home floor and in their own tournament. The only problem that was posed on the Cats that night was playing 5 on 7. Lewis was a bad loss for the Cats no doubt. But didn't the Bears lose to Deming and Cordia also? Bad losses also??

Don't be shocked All In :lol: It was one of those trap games for the Wildcats. They came off a night of giving it their all and playing tough against Holmes. The next morning they had no legs. None of them! They got beat for every loose ball and could not guard anyone. The starters were sent to the bench immediately in the game and replaced until the second half. It was one of those games where Lewis could not miss a shot. Monroe played maybe 5 total minutes in the game. The rest of the starters played maybe only a few minutes more. The Wildcats bounced back nicely to close out the tournament with back to back wins. They are looking extremely forward to their rematch with the Polar Bears on January 5th! Play post season on the road I guess. Coach Simms trying to have his cats ready by postseason. Still have games against Holmes, Scott, Mason & Montgomery on the road and have Lexington Catholic and Bryan Station at home.

The Wildcats are becoming road warriors. They have played 10 games so far and could possibly play four more and they have only played one game at home. That was an overtime loss to Brossart.

Nope The game was another close one at Bracken last year. Cooper scored 29 in the 4th quarter and went into the state record book. This close loss won't effect them against Harrison County. They bounced back after the OT loss to Brossart and will be up to the challenge against their 38th District rival. These Cats are very scrappy and resilient bunch. But the Polar Bears do get to come to Falmouth to play the Wildcats again in a couple weeks.

Congrats Bracken and good luck in the championship. Always a battle between these two teams. We will see you again at Pendleton on January 5th.
