I swear I didn't do that on purpose, trying to type too fast. Sorry.

Didn't these two teams meet last week?

Bracken won that meeting 50-48.

Thanks to some clutch free throws and sticky defense by Nick Jones the Wildcats were able to hold off the late charge by the Polar Bears. The Cats led by 13 at the half and by 15 midway in the third quarter. Bracken's defense improved in the second half and their three point shooters got hot to cut the lead to 2 at one point. This was a typical rivalry game that has intensified the last couple of years.

I really like this bracken team. Good luck the rest of the season!

Pendleton County led by 13 and halftime and were up as much as 17 in the second half.

The fourth quarter was a different story. Bracken County came out on fire, cutting the lead to two, with the ball. Dylan Hamilton shot the Polar Bears back into the game. Seniors Garrett Ferrell and Timmy Cooper ice the game for Pendleton at the free throw line.

They rarely do, they like to live or die from beyond the arc. This year has been better than last year when it comes to that, but they still fall into bad habits. Point guard play continues to be a problem.

Never do and don't quite understand it. You can't play every team the same and I think Bracken should take advantage of that size more. You can shoot your self out of a game as well as back into a game.

On any given night it seems as though PC's leading scorer fluctuates between 4 players. Greene , Monroe, Walsh and Cooper. Last year it was a lot of Cooper, this year early it was Monroe, then Greene for awhile.
