I agree, Hazard has to much size for PCC or anyone is this region to be effective against them in a slow down, half court game. PCC autually made a run when they started pressing and trapping, which suprised me.

I wouldnt want to draw either one of these teams.

Neither team played well. But both teams played hard. Very ugly game to watch. Whitaker is tough, best player in the region, and imo Hazard is not near the team they are without him. Perry got down by, I believe sixteen and cut it to nine, but couldnt get no closer. But they never gave up. Dogs are tough. Imo we will see round four next week in the regional finals.

Are you kidding me? I know Hazard is good but come on man. Imo Perry has the better coach and home court advantage will help the Commodores also. Yeah, it was nice. I think Jones can possibly play small d-1 someday. As for the game, Hazard led from the start and never looked back. Round 3 tomorrow between Hazard and PCC, with Hazard winning the first two. Its hard to beat a team 3times in one year, can Hazard do it? I hope not!

Whitaker imo just makes Hazard go. Without him imo there not near as good as they are now. So id probably say him.

I agree, I'd take those players in a heartbeat. Collins could be the most dominant player in the region if someone would teach him some post moves and work with him a little. I have a hard time believing that Stepp has over 1000 assists in his career. I've watched him play many times and probably not seen 10 assists combined in all those games.

Shame one of the most talented teams in eastern Kentucky doesent have an oppotunity to go to region or state. If they would have played team ball they would have easily won the region. Im not a JBS fan by any means and am glad they got beat out. This imo makes the road easier for my Dores. Do the Stepps keep coaching now that the great Clark Stepp is going d-1 or whatever?

I said something in another thread about how the 2 best teams in the region might not get out of district. Hazard has a tough game agaist Buckhorn tomorrow.

JBS got a bye and played the winner of Letcher and Jenkins. Whoever wins this game goes to the district champoinship.
