Grant County comes at you 10 deep, in your face and on your body the whole game and definetly try to get you off your game. I'm told that is how all teams in that region play. Just better have EMT's on hand. I kept books at one of their games this season and they had 30 fouls in the freshman game, 25 in the JV and 32 in the varsity.

Didn't Harrison County host the 10th region tournament way back in the day?

Can't find the thread that had all of the favorites per region to go on to the State Tournament,potential matchups in all of the State Tournament games,etc. Can anyone find that link and post? Thanks. It was on the front page or two for awhile, but can't find now.

Wonder if the Sr's. Jodrey or Gallenstein will be back for district tournament for the Saints?

One thing is a fact if you play teams like Campbell,Brossart, Grant County, NewCath, CovCath, Beechwood, could go on and on. You better be bench deep and ready to lace them and hope an EMT is on hand because though you can't argue with their success's in All A, region,etc., that brand of basketball is unwatchable to me( a free throw contest), sorry for the sour grapes.:idunno:

Gillespie hadn't been in the scoring column for several games, don't know about last night, no one seems to know what is going on there. But had heard at least one other player was no longer on the team. You would think someone one BGP would at least know something to confirm the situation there over the past several weeks, but so far just all heresay

Anyone know the last time Bracken County and Augusta played Mason County during the regular season? Don't ever remember Augusta scheduling Mason County. Way,way back before Mason County and Maysville consolidated, I believe Bracken County played them twice a year(home and away), along with playing Maysville twice year. Did Augusta ever schedule Mason County or Maysville? Probably only questions a fellow by the name of Sumo can answer.

Professor, you are the man. You can tell Hicks has 14th region in him by his style of coaching, that Grant County team is relentless with no let up even when up by 25. They play the same style in freshman and JV and assume down into middle and elementary

All State Baseball, Do you or anyone else know if Grant County Head Coach Jim Hicks came out of the 14th region. Was told he was from around that area but don't know if he coached anywhere. Thanks.

That's where I was hoping that they would go from the beginning this season. In a 12-13 episode season it is critical for every episode to push things along without being boring, missing Mags or at least a good bad character.

Kenny and Tim's time has come and gone, much like Buffet. If anyone is watching their money and can get to 3 of those, would think they would be Keith, Aldean and Bryan. Guranteed good times at those shows. If Bryan's upcoming album surpasses his others as they're saying he could blow up this year

This season has been as absolute snooze fest so far, not even comparable to the starts of seasons 2 and 3. The actors and writing are as strong asz ever, just not liking the storyline to start the season out

When have been there can remember very little shady areas, you'll fry there on a hot day. Needs more trees and grass areas,hillsides,etc. like Montgomery County to at least get some air is my only complaint,field and concessions are top notch.

I will second that and wonder when will Fleming County beat Mason County in anything. They've had more talented squads many times over the years in football and especially this year in basketball, but can't get by the Royals. This has to be a very disapointing lose with Starns at the helm. Maybe beating Mason County is not a top priority like it was back on the day for Fleming:idunno:
