This will be a close one but Pendleton by 3. The girls did look alittle out of it but I will say that I think playing Natalie in the game with Powell was a mistake, you could tell she was not ready to return just yet, a step slow in the game. Then Alison Godman was under the weather so we still were struggling a bit. The King girl looked good in her second start 8 pts. over 10 rebonds really played hard all night, have seen good improvement in her this year nice to see from the soph. The Cats will come ready to play the Bears.

I believe that the game is called basketball not basketbrawl to many times I have seen fouls that were simply payback for a foul not called, I like hard nosed defense but it must be called if it gets out of hand. I have seen teeth knocked out and intention elbows to the head if a player feels they are being covered to close, players do not seem to know how to move or free themselves from good defense they think that if they have a position on the floor that no one else can be within 5 ft of them. Coaches need to do a better job of teaching them how to move on offense and not play concrete feet offense. Great games to watch are 2 teams that move on both ends of the floor without being dirty or foul alot. The good refs will control a game without taking control of the game.

The ladycats did play some all out "D" tonight they put a complete game together, score by quarters 15-2, 25-10, 34-17,and final 49-25 balanced scoring, great game for the Cats

Cant agree more I have had 2 daugters play for coach Collins and both had great repore with coach great teacher of the game and knows how to win great records at the jv level .

This is a call that seems to be made more in boys games than in girls games. There have been times when i have seem players drop their head and plow somebody and it is called a block in the 10 years have been following girls games this is a call that very few times is called correct

This past Saturday the Ladycats did have a great day on the ballfield and without Sara Scaggs who could not be there on Sat. The cats hit the ball hard and often with 41 total runs coming across the plate, Junior Allison Faugner pitched 2 games (15-0) and (13-2) Senior Rachael King pitched the cats to a (13-3) win over Scott. The defense played some of the best ball they have played all year they really looked like a different team on Sat. played with alot of confidence hopfully this keeps going, this is the most wins the Ladycats have had in a number of years.

Rachael King from Pendleton has been a three sport athlete all 4 years and is ranked 10 in her class, she was named all district and region in volleyball and all district in softball and has been the leading rebounder for the Ladycats 2 years in a row, she worked hard in sports and it carries over to the classroom. She also has recieved many art awards.

I have been trying to find information on the the All District teams for 37,38,39,& 40 district does anyone have this info?

I have seen Rachael play from middle school to high school and have enjoyed watching her grow as a player, she doesn't get the respect that I think she should but she allways gives it her all. good defensive player and has a nose for the ball. She was quoted in the paper as saying the highlight of high school was getting to share the floor with little sis Bethany(freshman) this year. Congrats Rachael good luck and thanks for memories. Time for a new King to rule.

Rachael King from Pend. Co. plays good defense and leads the team in rebounds does the little things to make the team better.

The starters came out cold and never could get on track.... seemed like the coach decided to go with jv players in the second half and just let the game play out that way.
