I think most found it best to stay out of the divisive conversation that Walrus was trying to get started. This was a good win for Raceland and I wish them good luck in trying to make it to Richmond. Walrus is trying to make their win look more like a blow up on the part of RH, rather than a result of a lot of hard work by the Lady Rams. JMO.

Mark Watkins at Rose Hill has a good knowledge of the game and the respect of the players.

I believe it was his brother-in-law, his wife's brother, and also his best friend. I think you are right about the 9/11 thing. He has lost that fire in his belly to compete and win. I think his priorities have changed.

I think the NFL has some excellent rivalries. The first to come to mind for me is the recent history w/ the Bengals and the Steelers. KC/Denver also has spurs some very hard feelings.

Orlando Tubby Smith is my guess.

Love Jim Brown, but Sweetness would have to get my vote.

This game was a great opportunity for the younger players to get some precious playing time. Home court made for a good environment for the girls to work out some of their jitters. Good game and keep it up, girls. Would like to make a trip to Richmond.

Dakotah has strong ties at RH. I'm not sure of the grade level he was in when he started there, but it was in grade school, his mom is the school's AD, as well as the head coach of the girls team. I would look for Euton to stay a Royal throughout his high school career.

I wouldn't worry too much about OSU. Tressel is a great coach and motivator that can get the best out of anyone. When he was at Youngstown State, I would watch him come into Huntington with a clearly inferior team and give Marshall all they wanted. He will be ready for next year.

LT is a great player, but his stock went down after this childish tirade. He may end up eating those words about Coach B. If the Pats beat the Colts, Coach B will be LT's coach in the Pro Bowl.

I love The Great American Ballpark, but the nicest park I have watched a ball game in is The Ball Park at Arlington. Very nice modern facility.

Be careful, Himmelfarb. I was ripped earlier this season for being too critical of the officials.

Of course they were. With Queen in foul trouble, it made it easy to key on Terry. She responded by dumping the ball off, rather than take high risk shots. Showed some selfless play, IMO.

No. She had an off night shooting. She did pass the ball around a lot, but she was just having a bad night.

OR has watched "Hoosiers" one too many times.

Not sure but I think Terry had about 30 points. I'm sure Himmelfarb has some accurate stats to correct me if I'm wrong.

Good game for the Lady Royals. As SB said, Terry and Queen both had very good games. W/ the lack of bench depth, foul trouble is always going to be an issue. Even w/ that, it was a good effort for RH.

Having known these girls for quite a few years, I can not fathom the possibility of Laura Terry or Emily Queen ever having an "I don't care" attitude on the court, no matter what the score is.

I'm not a UK fan, so I feel this is an unbiased opinion. After reading this article, I think it is only a statement of facts. UK, based on the Sagarin poll we use today, would have won a nat'l title in football. I think the starter of this thread, thru his hatred for UK, is making a mountain out of a mole hill. Any college that had this in it's history would have made the same claim.

With all the UK fans on here that hate Florida, I can't believe what I'm reading. The fans from Greenup and Boyd Counties should be pulling for OSU because of Pettrey. Always nice to see a local boy play on the national stage. I can go along w/ pulling for an SEC team. I always pull for the Big Ten in non-conference games, even Michigan. It makes Ohio State look even better to beat teams that beat everyone else. I was pulling for U of M in the Rose Bowl. But back on track, a local, Northeastern KY kid playing such a huge role for the Buckeyes should garner some home state support.

Buckeyes in this from start to finish. I hope it turns into a kicking game. OHIO STATE all the way.
