I also loved the projectile the cannon shot. It went about 15 yards out on the field everytime they shot it.

Some random thoughts from the game... - Lincoln County has no concept of the cannon. When they scored, it would be almost 2 minutes before they would fire it. - The PA guy needs to learn a little bit about football. He made a comment on the PA system and everybody on JC's side couldnt believe it. Lincoln County threw a pass, a JC defender was in coverage, the JC defender broke up the pass. The PA guy said, I cant believe there wasnt a flag on that play. - JC couldnt get nothing in the 2nd half. - I didnt really agree with the name of Lincoln County's stadium... "death valley" it should be more like "death hillside"

I always associate where I am from (Johnson County) with Loretta Lynn.

They were from the 16th region. I know that 2 of the refs... the white hat and head linesman have refereed state championship games before.

Sheldon Clark recived a grant or something of that nature to install bermuda grass with the rubber pellets used in turf. It looked and felt pretty decent. Does Lincoln County have the same thing?
