Nope. East Carter hasnt had a wrestling team for about 3 or 4 years.

How do the Louisville area schools look this year in wrestling?

Letcher County Central hosted a tournament Friday night and Saturday. This was the first tournament that I’ve attended for the 07-08 season.

 

There were about a dozen schools there. The KY schools were: Louisville St. X, Letcher Co, Perry Co, McCreary, Sheldon Clark, and Ashland. Spring Valley and Capitol High School participated from WV. There was a team from SC, TN and VA as well.

 

I didn’t stay till the bitter end, so I don’t know how everyone finished. However, I do know Ashland’s results

This was a well run tournament. Thanks to the folks at Letcher Co. Central for hosting.
