Graybeard Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Letcher County Central hosted a tournament Friday night and Saturday. This was the first tournament that I’ve attended for the 07-08 season. There were about a dozen schools there. The KY schools were: Louisville St. X, Letcher Co, Perry Co, McCreary, Sheldon Clark, and Ashland. Spring Valley and Capitol High School participated from WV. There was a team from SC, TN and VA as well. I didn’t stay till the bitter end, so I don’t know how everyone finished. However, I do know Ashland’s results Third place finishes K. Rigsby (Jr) – 140 E. Holbrook (Jr) - 215 Fourth place T. Harvey (Fr) - 189 Fifth place finishes A. Patrick (Jr) – 119 M. Fuller (Sr) – 130 C. Petrella (Soph) – 145 This was a well run tournament. Thanks to the folks at Letcher Co. Central for hosting.

Bright Horizons Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 For the 7th region: Teams Woodford Co. PLD Henry Clay Lafayette Montgomery Co. Tates Creek Franklin Co. Harrison Co. Bourbon Co. Bryan Station Western Hills This order could change: TC is really young and will improve, Harrison is missing the footballers and PLD may or may not fill the weight classes
