Second Round: Rockcastle County @ Bell County
Were these wrinkles shown in the scrimmage games that Coach Landry alluded to in another thread?

Boyle Co vs Lexington Catholic
That might not get told to the KHSAA.

Best Game to visit 11/2/07
No Brainer!! Paris vs Bourbon Co. There's a new KFC/Taco Bell combo restaurant in town right in front of the beautiful new Wal-Mart. Dinner, shopping, entertainment--what more could you ask for? Oh, and treat yourself to a Starbucks after the game.

Fans Pre Season Top 10 - Class 6A
If 300 lbers. are a key, then I would submit ABC's "The View" in the top 5

Bart Rison retires as coach at Montgomery Co.
Interesting scenario shaping up here. When I found out that Montgomery was indeed a large school, I researched their schedule over the last 10 years to find that something like 100 out of 194 wins were against Augusta, Bath, Berea, Bracken, Burgin, Deming, Estill, KSD, Lee, Menifee, MMI, Model, Nicholas, Powell, Sayre, St. Patrick, etc. Will the new AD continue with the scheduling trend that was established while he was the coach, or will he upgrade the schedule to one that better reflects the size of the school and the new gymnasium? And, if he chooses the latter, will he be viewed as imposing expectations upon his successor that he did not impose upon himself? Very difficult situation. Congratulations to the coach and best of luck as AD.

Coaching changes?
No kidding; I'm shocked. Looking back over their schedule the last 10 years or so, I see a lot of Powell Co., Deming, Menifee, Co., Augusta, Bracken Co., Bath Co., St. Patrick, Nicholas Co., Lee Co., etc. They even had KSD, Burgin, Sayre, MMI, Model, and Berea on the schedule quite a bit. Are you sure?

Coaching changes?
Are you sure that Montgomery Co. is a 4A school? I always assumed they were class A based upon the schedule that they play. Haven't they been playing in the All-A Classic?

2007 Johnson Central
Surely not. That wouldn't make any sense at all. Why would they pass up the statewide exposure that playing in the Bluegrass Bowl game would provide their players and their program? I'm sure they were offered a handsome price to boot. If this is true, this is a real shame for Central fans, not to mention the fact that they must have made some sort of committment to Lexington Catholic for it to be published in the Herald-Leader. Bad deal.

No more Deming Devils
The Big Blue Lickers?? In honor of the nearby state park.

Montgomery County Gym
Identifying the actual number of spectators this new gym can hold should be easy; just base it on the overflow crowds in attendance to watch the Indians host Augusta, Deming, Bracken Co., Menifee Co. (twice), Bath Co., St. Patrick, etc.

CovCath 2007 schedule?
Actually, Cov. Cath verbally agreed to play in the Bluegrass Bowl at Lex. Cath over the next two years with Lex. Cath being the opponent in '07. Cov. Cath then opted to not play Lex. Cath. but accepted an invite to play LaSalle in Cincy instead. Hopefully, these two can get together in the very near future; they have had some classic battles of late.

What are the best lifts for football?
Those were actually tongue in cheek comments not meant to be taken seriously.

What are the best lifts for football?
Lifting 12 or more ounces of Creatine or Andro and ingesting can provide dramatic results. :ylsuper:

Montgomery Co./Mason Co. Predictions
No, but he probably schedules a few girls teams!

10th region All A pairings?
Where is Montgomery Co. in the pairings? I thought with the schedule that they play year-in and year-out, that they were an All-A team.

Berea Head Coaching Job Open Again.
This would imply that students from public schools attend other public schools outside their respective districts for athletic purposes; we all know this to be untrue.

Where would Ryle rank?
I doubt you'll see it if you drive to the mountains; might want to head north.

LCA versus Fairview - 10/27/2006
Mighty nice of those Catholic folk to allow their brethren to stay high and dry. Too bad LCA wouldn't accept the invite for next year.

Franklin Co. at East Jessamine. Who wins?
With only 2 first downs at halftime (1 by penalty) you all must have practiced self-mutilation instead of beating yourselves.
