Lone Oak isn't even in the same class as Lexington Catholic, and Bell County too for that matter. Wonder how many college coaches were watching Corey Robinson in this game?

Robinsons and Lone Oaks play today has even shed more light on their schedule this year.Mike Fields live blog with Lexington Herald reports that their was a running clock for the last 11 minutes of the game and the LONE score from Lone Oak was against Lexington Catholics reserves.

WOW...at least their trip to play a Central Ky team wasn't a Shut Out for them. Is Lexington Catholic still playing all their starters?

And That's why ALL season those of us that have very challenging teams to play week in and week out, couldn't get all excited when Lone Oak was beating everybody "on their schedule"every week!

Has there ever been any players from this conference (pioneer league) to go pro?

Thanks. Can you tell me anything much about this "level they compete". This pioneer football nonscholarship football.....does morehead have a good fan base and with league, is it good,competitive football? Just don't know much about it at all.

For those of you familiar with Morehead Football, what information can you give for someone considering playing for them? Good and Bad (of course, nonscholarship is a known negative).

Sorry, Everyone in the state is not going to believe Lone Oak will beat Lexington Catholic.It's an opinion. Just like your opinion that they will win. Does that mean since you are saying Lone Oak will beat Lex Catholic, that that means Lex Cath should save their money and stay home.... ????

The only two losses Lex Catholic has had this year were to Highlands and St.Xavier, who were both undefeated. I know Lone Oak is undefeated but they aren't quite Highlands and St. Xavier. Lone Oak has done well to get to the championship to play Lexington Catholic, but I don't think Lex Catholic will have trouble with Lone Oak. I also don't think they will "overlook the flash"as you put it....since it is the state 4A championship.

I predict Lexington Catholic will beat LO by more than 4-5 Tds. Lex Catholic beat a great Bell Co team this year easily and I think they will beat LO as well.

I read that he didn't have an offer from Murray though. So if "they want him bad" why haven't they offered? Or maybe that has changed and they did. ??

Are you kidding? How can a qb have the national record now for Touchdowns without "strong supporting cast" of receivers and a line. No matter how great a qb he is, he wouldn't have those stats without his team!! and you think he has an undefeated season just by himself. That doesn't happen from just the quarterback position!

What an insult you made to high school kids and maybe you don't know everything about the situation. Obviously you don't know about the talented kids on the team who were working hard and going out not giving up and expecting to win every Friday night or maybe you were just listening about the ones who weren't doing what they should have been. But that was not across the board for the whole team and none of them should be called "chicken crap"! I hope you aren't an adult associated with Southern! And the seniors on that team this year had played together since 8th grade and were 9 and 1 their 8th grade year. I just hope that none of the players are reading your posts because many are feeling bad enough about their year!..........Also, Carter has recommended Brumley for the job and Brumley must have applied, so they must think they still have talent there to work with !~
