Nice lookin out! Yes, Macon can develop into a very good reciever. He just has to want it. He has the size, but does he have the heart?

I think they will if they humble themselves, and not continue with the attitude that 'we're better then everyone.' -

So I take it Donald Walker played tonight? -
This was a very entertaing game to watch! Boyle battled back to tie wtih less then a minute left in the 4th, but an outstanding kicker from LaFayette ended the game with 5 seconds left, a 40 some-yard field goal I believe. Both teams played hard, but a few things could've been worked on. Great game to watch.

Anything special happen in this one? Anybody play especially good ?!
-
Great point Mr. Pancacke! Alot of the other regions, especially smaller schools who don't have very big programs usually end up forefitting the smaller weights because smaller guys are so hard to get commited and involved in a sport because of there size. So i agree, don't take it away from them!

Yeah that's about right. It's usually inacccurate too. They carry alot of the seniors who graduated the year before over to the new poll. So just be warned when you goto look at it. :thumb:

Boyle County Home Game Situation

I guess a few home games are better then none. LOL -
To live without the regret possibly.

From what I heard about the scrimmage between Danville and Mercer, it wasn't a game to miss. Buffalo Gap is correct in saying the teams wont play because of the friendship between both Sam Harp and Marty Jaggers, but indeed it would be a great game if they ever decided to change there minds.

Any status on that, or is it just a little boo boo ?

Your right. They may have a few of the state's leading rushing and passing leaders, but a couple players can't do it by themselves, making them the team that they weren't a year or so ago :thumb:

hahaha Wow! I totally forgot that. Thanks for the looking out there.

Boyle County Home Game Situation

Nor mine. These boys and girls deserve better though. Might be time to take a lesson from the ol' Danville field crew. -
It's pretty much a fact of life now that if your last name is Cooper, your guaranteed to medal at state, if not win! LOL
-
Yes he does. I think he just took Danvilles offensive playbook from 2002 with him over to Mercer LOL He's a heck of a coach, that's for sure. WHOO HOO! Go Scotties!!:thumb:

Boyle County Home Game Situation

The band program is as prestigious as they come around the state, maybe more so then the football team at points. They do deserve better, Director Tim Blevins has really built that program. Both orginazations deserve a better field. It isn't fair to have this years seniors unable to play (instruments or football) at there home field. But does anyone know what put the field in such bad shape? I heard they laid the sod down to late, or something. Is this true? -
Yes, but as a Danville Alumn, Danville made enough mistakes to lose. I really feel like there was no true loser in last friday nights game. Yeah, Boyle had there fair share of mistakes but so did Danville. Hopefully Boyle will get those sorted out for this weeks game. :thumb:

I see where Trigg County is pretty high up on Class 2 AA, but they are not even ranked in the AP poll, but did get honarable mention. Hmmmm, interesting. -
I dunno, guess we have to wait and see ultimately. I look forward to see the intensity Boyle plays with going up against a big AAAA school like LaFayette. It should be interesting, then we can talk about next week :thumb:

As bad as it sounds, it just seems Somerset lost all its talent over the past couple years. They use to have a really outstanding program!
-
I agree, will it be televised?! Does anyone know? I haven't seen Danville or Mercer on TV yet, but i know Boyle was on there for the game against Henry Clay.
