Woah buddy! Don't let their record fool you, they're a very good ball team. I would do this years. :thumb: -
Is there a possibility this year, which i guess there is, but do you all think there will be four state champions, all undefeated. So far you have Danville, Mercer, 3A(?), and Trinity (?) . Anyone see it happening?

I knew you'd agree with me buddy. -
A year where all teams that have ended up winning the state championship have gone 15-0? I was just curious my friends and I were discussing the subject, and I was wondering if anyone had any further knowledge on it.

2006 Boyle County: anomaly or sign of things to come???

The reason Tamme had so many yards is because he had another Tamme to throw too, one that was fast as lightning :thumb: -

Your right. Should be a good game. Southwest, I believe is who they play. I think they gave Danville a good battle earlier in the year with a scrimmage. Should be a nice match-up for the Rebs. -

Oh no noo noooo. I meant I'm getting this vibe that this week against Casey County, Mercer will have a key player injured. -

I'm going to make a wild and crazy assumption and say that Mercer indeed blows them out (60 or more points), but Mercer has a key player injured. Let's hope it doesn't happen, but i've just been getting this vibe. -
How is the 12th region going to shape up this year?
phil shil replied to pride50's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Boyle has gained alot of transfers from Danville. Including Spencer Perrin, Christian Williams, who both started for Danville last year. Boyle will be stacked in most positions this year, and should return quite a few of there starters. -
Possible state champions this season
phil shil replied to xyience's topic in KY Wrestling (High School)
I'm a big Harrison Courtney fan. The kid was born with it in his blood. I'm still upset about what happened a few years back to him at the state championship. I think he will fair well this year, and bring woodford back yet another gold! :thumb: -
2006 Boyle County: anomaly or sign of things to come???

I never bashed Chuck Smith. He was a great high school football coach. I was purely just pointing out how alot of people in general have blamed the losses on this years staff. -

2006 Boyle County: anomaly or sign of things to come???
phil shil replied to jbwill2's topic in KY Football (High School)
... was Boyle County football. Smith also had names like Tamme's, Leffew's, and Duggins come out of his programs who were twice the size of the biggest starter for Boyle. For Boyle's age and game-play experience (which is essential for success in any sport) they are playing there best. They go out and give it there all, win or lose. If you don't remember Pardue sat next to Smith on the sidelines all those years, just as Jaggers stood next to Harp. The only difference is Jaggers had previous head coach experience, and has guys quicker then lighting with experience. Whereas I believe Pardue has always been an assitant, and has 5 or fewer guys with starting every game experience. -

That seems to me like a deliberate shot at the Boyle Coaching staff. -

I get tired of hearing the same ol' BLAH. People want to blame it on Smith's leaving, and Perry at quarterback, but that's not the problem. The problem is the age of the kids and the strength of the schedule. Pardue is still a good coach, and Perry to be a first year starter has developed quickly in the pocket. So don't go blaming Boyle's losses on the coaching or the players. They are out there giving it 110% each and every friday. You laugh now Titan, but come next year we'll see what Mercer has left :thumb: -
Last Second Victory by Field Goal

LaFayette a week ago kicked a 40+ yarder with 5 seconds left to beat Boyle. It was a definate big bummmer. -
Who's better? Mercer or Russell?
phil shil replied to Mr.Network's topic in KY Football (High School)
Mercer will not survive come playoff time. To much pressure on their shoulders, and from all of there players not use to winning big championship games, I can't see them delivering.
