  1. Isn't Trinity's kicker going to UK? He is the real deal.
  2. After having children in both public and private over the past 15 years I have seen it all. Families picking up and moving of one county to another or from one part of town to another so that their sons and daughters can play on a sports team that would showcase their childs talent. I have heard people say that if they send their kids to a school with a winning program university's may see them and offer a scholarship. Fact being, more student's have a better chance of getting an academic ride if they apply themselves. The playing field is level there. I would have a easier time with this private/public debate if education was ever mentioned. Look at the statistics of students that continue their education after graduating from a private school vs public, it's unbelievable. Financial aid is available to any student with just a little paper work. I'm sick of the belly aching about this debate.
  3. Congrat's to Cov Cath. Well played game. Having read the threads prior to the game I didn't think Lex Cath would do as much scoring against CC's defense nor did I think the kicker would miss any FG's. Who was tougher to beat LC or Highlands?
  4. When your team doesn't win do you always blame the ref? I guess the hard work and determination from the players has nothing to do with a win.
  5. Revere signed with Georgia to play baseball. Hope Kentucky is looking at Ammons!
  6. LC allowed a lot of points this year because the starters only played the first half of almost every game. Too much class for the big blowouts.
  7. Is it ture the coaches from Highlands and CovCath left the LexCath game at half time when they came to scout on Friday night? That may have been a big mistake!
  8. You had to see to believe it! Both teams played their heart out. Ammons, I hate to see it end for you. You my boy are a class act. Congrats to the Knights. What a come back.
  9. There used to be a City/ County All Star game played every year in Louisville. Proceeds would benefit a charity.
  10. "Playing down to the competition." Against a team as good as Franklin? That makes me laugh! I don't think I've ever seen a team from Catholic or anywhere else as far as that goes, play down to the competition.
