  1. Sorry to disappoint you Riverside, but I'm not beholden to any particular program or school.
  2. I think Trinity's slow starts are over from here on out. These two programs really do not like each other so there will be plenty of motivation on both sidelines. However, Trinity's pass defense is still there for the taking for teams that can execute and adjust. In fact, it seemed at times that lowly Southern had its way at the line of scrimmage and repeatedly gashed the Trinity defense for rushing yardage and first downs. They just couldn't keep doing it all the way to the endzone. Turnovers as usual will be a factor in this game, but not the factor. I don't see Ballard being able to consistently move the ball and score, although they will score 21 points. I don't see Ballard being able to contain Trinity's offense. Trinity will score 42+ points. Trinity 42 Ballard 21
  3. St. X defense will win this game. It will produce two key turnovers that lead to 14 points and a 35 to 21 victory. St. X will get its full game rematch with Trinity.
  4. I wasn't being sarcastic regarding my prediction. It is playoff time and St. X is a great playoff team with probably the best running back in Kentucky. They will be playing on a fast track at PJCS against a team and coaching staff that does not perform well in the playoffs or under any kind of pressure. I beleive St. X will blow out Manual, beat Male by 14 and get its full game rematch with Trinity. St. X is a much better team than Manual and its coaching staff is second to none.
  5. St. X wins by 35 points as Anderson runs for over 250 all purpose yards and scores four times.
  6. Although Trinity will win by 5 TDs or more, the stats posted in the CJ show that Trinity's defense is giving up a lot of yards, especially through the air. Does this concern any of the Trinity faithful? What happens when Trinity faces a quality team that knows how to adjust and convert and then capitalize with points? For example, MBA? What teams down the road will take advantage of Trinity's soft pass defense?
  7. Following the scores this season it appears to me that most of the teams in St. X's and Trinity's districts did not provide much competition for either of these teams. Other than Male, which other distritct opponent gave St. X a game for even a half?
  8. It is interesting that the Tigers' first round opponent is "credable" and they expect to win by 3+ TDs. Are the Tigers that good or is Manual not so "credable"?
