Very knowledgeable at baseball........that's about all I'm going to say.....repercussions, repercussions.

Of course, it's always the kids, the parents, the community.....My question is what happened at the other coaching positions Bieger had and just exactly why isn't he there anymore.

"REspect" that's the key word......you have to earn it and then the kids do much better......putting them down and being sarcastic doesn't earn much respect.

Well it is now april and i still dont see one different thing done to the baseball field.

Yes it went to extra innings it was a hard played game. matt Aynes for ludlow hit two home runs.

Yes it was Class and the two pitchers for Ludlow were Rouse and Hammons they both together combined for a no hitter. Hammons had 9 k's for the starting pitcher.

Any thoughts about the game?

Just thought I would help get some kids names out there that are never mentioned. Just off the top of my head: Ludlow: P - Daniel Hammons CF - Nick Adams Feel free to add your school and players.

Not taking anything away from them, they are great baseball players and deserve all the acknowledgments they get. I'm sure they have worked very very hard to get where they are. It's just that it seems that if a player isn't from one of the better known baseball programs or bigger schools they never get noticed.

Very true.....seems the kids that aren't from Ryle, Cov Cath, Beechwood....never get any recognition no matter how good they may be.

There have been many comments by numerous people at games as to his "nasty" curveball, but then again he just started throwing it last summer. He is a junior this year.

As far as the Hammons kid.....I am looking at his UK Showcase Evaluation from this last December and he was clocked with the following: Fastball Average Velocity: 84mph Movement 40 Command 38 Curveball Average Velocity: 69mph Movement 40 Command 38 ChangeUp Average Velocity: 68mph Movement 38 Command 40 The Grading Scale is: 35-39 Above average high school ability level 40-44 College ability level He was consistently clocked at 86 this last summer.....struck out 30 batters in 2 games at one point and the team went on to win the City Tournament at Crosley Field. By the way that was during his Sophmore season.

I heard he also coached at cov. cath and scott.

Well so far I have not seen any of the fields with anything new done to them. I hope you are right though and they fix them.

Daniel Hammons is a Junior this year. He now has a breaking ball that he used an awful lot this fall in the Cincinnati HS all-stars league.

What about kids from the smaller schools that actually have talent but cant be recognized because of their teams performances.

Will Hammons be a good pitcher as a Sophomore in your opinion?

I don't know how they were close to every game when they lost to Ludlow 11-1, when they had a sophomore starting on the mound. But I will admit they are a heck of a baseball team. They know how to bring out the bats.

well ludlow won that game... the winning pitcher was Kyle York.... and ludlow came out swinging the bats which gave them the advantage over bellevue...

ludlow did not have a good game this day. but they will show them next time when they are ready to play as a team.

well it didn't matter who they pitched it was that ludlow had their bats out finally for an entire game....
