Knott co. central, they shoot well play no defense.

I guess there is a little more seperation between Scott co. and Mason co. than some would have thought.

Good showing for Russell and the 16th, continue to do well.

This is going to be a 4 point game one way or the other, with the water just as muddy after the game as before. But I will bet you a bottle of pop Ashland will not get clean open looks from the 3 point line like they did against Knott Co. they are a little harder to make with a hand in your face.

Refs kept the whistles in their pockets in both Ashland and Boyds game last night and let them play, be interesting to see if that changes.

Ugly Betty from Boyd.... Boyd is going to play alot of games like this good thing is they are getting good at it. One constant Boyd brings every night is defense. Highlands was your typical Highlands, super agressive football player type athletes, when 2 teams playing that much defense hook up it aint gonna be pretty. When a team overplays the inbounds pass the way Highlands did Boyds players got to make a better effort to get open. If that doesnt work put 5 in the front court and run an inbounds play like your under your own basket.

There is not a coach in the region that would not like to have 4 players average in double figures and play as hard on defense as these boys do. These boys flew under the radar last year and managed to so far this year, thats not always a bad thing. And yes I agree this is a better team than last year. And as long as we can keep any players from getting into that top 10 we will be just fine.

Boyd is not very big on the inside this could be trouble. How big is Simpson?

Boyd is extremely balanced and I dont know if any are top 10, but maybe all are worthy of 11 thru 14.

It could happen but Ashland is not the only team getting better, Boyd has vastly improved since the last Ashland game as I am sure have many other teams.

Three area tournaments with game times of 2,4 6 pm, on the day before christmas eve there are a lot of people in service related jobs that have to work holidays. I would think most people work the day before christmas eve. There could have at least been a box score so people could have known who won or lost their games.

What is rose hills record on the year, it does not seem like they have played that many games up to this point. There is still a lot of time for the young girls to step up.

Boyd puts 4 in double figures again, and they showed some signs of some bench play thats going to prove pivotal down the road.

Ashland will be fine, anybody that thinks they wont be a team to contend at tourney time is kidding theirself.

There are three area holiday tournaments with teams playing , and there wasn't one story or box score. They did attempt to write an article about the upcoming A.I.T. but they messed up with teams not in the tourney appearing in the bracket, but we did get 2 full pages of letters to Santa. Local schools spend a lot of time,effort,and money to put on a good tournament and depend on the media to get information about their tournaments out there to help boost attendence. The area deserves a better effort.

Scott co. comes at you in waves, Mackey seems to get more pub but in may opinion Walls is an incredable player.

Congrats on 3rd place finish with a win in OT to go 3-1 on their trip.

They shot the ball well, they liked to play alot of help defenses zones & box and 1. I heard Boyd shot like 62% from the floor for the game.

Boyd starting to show some signs of an outside game to go with their strong inside play. Good balance again with 4 players in double figures.

Thats several more games than anyone is allowed to play, they will have to hope for bad weather or cancel at the end of season.

Heard Boyd co. was going to Harrison co. in april to play in a weekend tournament. I think its great 2 baseball giants get to hook up during regular season. Anybody have a scoop on what kind of team Harrison is supposed to have this year?
