Final from the AIT.

Boyd wins a close one despite 22 turnovers. 16 of the 22 came in the first half. Radio had 3 Boyd players in double figures. Selby with 18 and 9 boards. Boyd gets the Tomcats tommorrow night.

Big win for the Lions as they continue to improve. Should be a full house as they meet the Tomcats.

Boyd looked UGLY tonight...They better get it together or they will get flat out embarrassed tomorrow.

AGREE! Boyd could not play no worse, the only good thing is they found a way to win.If they play like that tomorrow they are going to get the ball kicked out of them.

Birds drop fifth of last six games. Winless against schools without Newport in the name.

Good chance to get better the next couple days in the los, uhm defeated team, bracket though.

Congratulations to the Lions. :thumb:

Ugly Betty from Boyd.... Boyd is going to play alot of games like this good thing is they are getting good at it. One constant Boyd brings every night is defense. Highlands was your typical Highlands, super agressive football player type athletes, when 2 teams playing that much defense hook up it aint gonna be pretty. When a team overplays the inbounds pass the way Highlands did Boyds players got to make a better effort to get open. If that doesnt work put 5 in the front court and run an inbounds play like your under your own basket.

Who will Highlands play now?

Knott co. central, they shoot well play no defense.

Only 6 Birds hit the boxscore? Considering Willie usually plays about 10-12 guys per game this is strange. An earlier post stated they shot poorly so that could have been a good reason I guess.

Boyd just got lucky last night, if they were playing against a better team, the outcome would have been a whole lot different.
