Redbird and OBI are not playing in the district this year so this makes it a 3 team district: Clay, North and Jackson. 3 team districts have to seed. So Tuesday means alot.

Yeah, but Monday it was rainy, muddy and cold....2 of three days last week same deal. This time of year you are lucky to get 3 out of 5 days good weather. And its not like the fall...you can't just go out and screw your fields up in the spring because you will screw up the grass and it will be HORRIBLE in the fall. May = less rain days. Better field conditions. I've always thought there needed to be a spring scrimmage vs. another team. Tennessee does that. Seems like you could make some more money that way.

The Baker boy had 150 tackles. He'll be missed. only played defense. The Linemen were pretty much one way. Shears played both ways, Wardrup only at running back. Fugate only one way. Maybe 5 guys at any given time playing on both sides of the ball.

North was in a tougher district than PC. Actually North was undefeated against Your district. So they actually would have been distract champs if they were on the other side (they beat PC after all, who would have been second) PC's district didn't fair very well round one agaisnt NL's district either.

School districts do send their teachers on trips. They go to clinics and seminars just like coaches. And they get days off for them.

EKU would be an awesome place. The stadium would be PACKED. A packed small stadium is better than a 3/4 empty big one in my opinion. The only game that actually fills papa johns is an all louisville 6A final. And that game won't be as packed in Bowling green cause teh Louisville homers won't drive down for the game IMHO. Go back and forth between Eastern and Western. Alternate every 2 year cycle. half in the east, half in the West. That would Rock.

The North Laurel Athletic Department announces on Friday November 13, Tanner Smith (senior baseball) will be signing with Division I Western Kentucky University to pursue his athletic goals and continuing education. The signing will take place in the North Laurel Auditorium at 1:00 PM and let this release serves as your invitation to attend. Tanner is coming off a banner junior season where he was named to the KY East/West Junior All Star Team and played throughout the United States this summer as a member of the Kentucky Baseball Club, based in Lexington, KY.
