  1. Towles I heard has a mild fracture of her leg. She should be back in three to four weeks. She scored 26 or 27 points playing on that leg in the AAU state tournament a couple of weeks ago. I think she'll make a difference when she returns.
  2. Im up for it...it would definitely make the tournament more fun for the players. Only objection is what about the 36th district, it has 5 teams. There are more dstricts like this as well.
  3. You're right. If Highlands leaves the second pitcher in the game they're playing tonight. I think he pitched three innings. No hits and two walks. Dixie was having trouble with this pitcher. Apparantly that wasn't the plan though. Good luck Dixie.
  4. We will get a good preview in a couple of weeks in Lexington when some of the better high school teams in the state compete in a summer tournament. I'm sure there are some teams from northern kentucky going.
  5. I believe that was the Bird's 20th win of the season.
  6. Starters should be...Bradley,Meeks,Crawford,Patterson,Stevenson (Revised) With Legion, Stewart, Harris, and Jasper as main guys off the bench
  7. Didn't think about that...you'd think him being a senior he'd be a "team" player...but i guess that's just wishful thinking
  8. True... what do you think about... Jasper Bradley Meeks Patterson Stevenson (Crawford off the bench)
  9. Bradley at the point last year wasn't the best of ideas...Jasper will develop and Meeks is a great guy to bring off the bench with his offensive spark.
  10. Sorry Wireman totally forgot about him...

  13. Highlands vs. Dayton Winner to play NCC Bellevue vs. Newport
  14. I didn't see his name in the paper, but heard the second pitcher Highlands brought out pitched pretty well.
  15. Perhaps the fact that Highlands has three pitchers that have combined for 110 strikeouts has something to do with their success. All three pitchers are #1, #5 and #9 in the region in strikeouts. Ryle has a very good team. Your obsession with defending their loss against Highlands in indicative of someone who is very concerned about his team. Rest easy my friend Ryle is a good team.
  16. Towles did get a little tired in the Cov. Cath. game. When he was fresh Lloyd or Ryle never really touched him. He struck out 4 in both games.
  17. They have maybe three pitchers that are capable of beating anyone. To only give up three hits to Cov. Cath is indicative of pretty good pitching.
  18. Wasnt the hhs covcath score 2-1 and didnt curtin pitched as well? I'd think Highlands should be a team to watch out for. They are just a couple of outs here and there from having an outstanding record. If their pitching holds up they could be tough.
  19. I believe that was the 4th win in a row for the Birds. The pitching apparently has improved quite a bit.
  20. Highlands beat Holmes by about 15 points a month ago. Notre Dame should handle this team. It is very important that ND play a complete game going into the state tournament. A first half performance like the one against Highlands could spell trouble for them going against older girls. So goes Dickman and Drees so goes the Pandas. The best of luck to whoever makes it.
  21. Why in the heck did the Dixie coach sit the big kid for so long? That coaching decision cost his team big time. Unless the young man was sick or something I didn't see the logic of sitting him for such a long period of time.
