The point is that Henry is not very good sorry to get everbody upset. How about we replace them with owen, or Williamstown it is all the same.

The Gallatin vs. Walton games this year should be a good time.

When he first joined the team he had to earn his minutes by the time they went to florida he was in the starting lineup. As for the stats his job was not score points he was in there because of his defense. I think we can all agree the shooting stars had enough guys on the team that could score.

8TH Region 1. Walton 2. Gallatin Co. 3. Trimble Co. 4. Carrol Co. 5. Emenice 6. Henry Co.

He did join the team later in the season but picked up some good minutes in some big tournements including nationals in Orlando. He is much improved player this year. I also belive he has a supporting cast around him this year that will take away from the double teams he got last year.

My brother played summer ball with hester and they still hang out and he has not told me about any injury, so he should be fine.

Frank Daugherty will be a good player also this year had a good summer with the Shooting Stars.

I do think they have improved but I also think there is alot of questions with the team such as the health of blevins and hurd this year. I watched hester play over the summer and he is getting better. The game at Walton was not close Walton was flat footed and lazy that game no argument from me on that game. I just belive that as a whole this Walton team has a chance to surprise some people, and most of all SK because they are overlooking the whole district which works out good for the other teams.

Right and if you were at those games you know they were closer then the score says. The game at simon last year Walton was within eight I belive when they just ran out of time and had to start fouling and then got rushed and started to make stupid turnovers. Plus that was last years team with only two guys with any varsity time at all. New season different team look for the games to be alot closer.

Ok I am going to have to disagree with you on that one, I will almost guarntee that Walton gives them a game atleast one of the times they play. SK did not blow walton out last year and they are a better team this year. And I hope that the SK team has the same attuide that you have then I will get to see that upset I want so badly.

I would have to agree with everbody on this one, but to tell the truth I would love to see an upset. And you all know you would to. But I just don't see it happening not this year.

It is a simple question who is going to take it, or should I say who will finish runner-up. Because I think we all know that SK will take the title with the talent they have this year. Now in my opinion it will be Walton they have the most returning players this year and are very deep with nine seniors on the roster. What do you think?

I agree with the list except for Wade besides his size he has no other skills. I watched him while he was at Carroll and saw him last year in the regionals, and just am not impressed. I belive there are alot of players that are better all around players then Wade and therefor they should be on the list above him.

I was trying to think of the top players coming back this year. A couple of players stood out to me, ofcourse Mike Hester from Simon Kenton, and Franklin Daugherty from Walton. Then there is Cody Perkins in Gallitin and they also added Nate Edmunson from Holmes. But I was looking for some other impact players this year.

Alot of open gym and weights.

I think Simon Kenton has a real chance to take the region this year, they only lost one started from the team last year. My sleeper pick that may be good for one or two upsets this year would have to be Walton returened whole team but one player. They also have seven seniors this year so maybe good for an upset.

I know back when I first went to Walton they told me that they use to have a football team back when it was 8 man. But then again they also told me there was a pool in the basement, so your guess is as good as mine.

The varsity process is still three or four years away. From what I hear next year will be freshman team, then a JV, then varsity. So they have awhile to get the kids ready for the big time.

I just wanted to say good luck and I hope it is the start of a good new football school here in the Northren Kentucky area. I belive they are only starting with a middle school team this year but will be upgrading to high school next year.

It is all over for the shining stars in Orlando, they were knocked off and out of the tournment saturday with a lose in the second round of bracket play. From what I hear it was not a great showing for the boys I believe they only had one win in the nationals.

What about Franklin Daugherty from Walton he has been having a good summer and has earned a starting spot for the shining stars in nationals this week. I belive this could be a stand out year for him.

As for tonight I am looking for Simon Kenton to win but I do belive it will be a close game.

there is a rumur going around that Daugherty at Walton will be leaving to play with his aau team which is the simion kenton team. from what I hear a couple of players have been asking for him to leave and come to simion kenton so it will be a lock to go to state next year. just wonder what people thought out there.
