Reserved seats were not sold for this game so me and about 10 NCC fans sat under the press box on the 50 yard line pirates side. We expected a few looks and perhaps to be chased to the visitor's side but the fans were great. We had great football conversation and a great game. It could have gone either way and I dont think anyone in the stands would have been truely upset by the outcome dispite who won. Great way to start the year hope both teams have great years. :thumb:

I also belive you would share the same fate as the others

27 to 14 was the final score in the Russell vs. Owen cath in a class where there are still arguement's that Fort Campbell, Belfry and Newport are better teams. The finals are a time where just a streak of good luck can get you a long way, where teams have bad games due to big game nerves, long season ect... from Newport on Russell's games were coin flips in my opinion. NCC had stats showing how well teams matched up with us from Bellevue on we went into every game expecting a fight but it did not happen. This was a team truly on the top of its game and I also beleive they would beat Russell but as you say we will never know so you may continue to laugh but we all know you lay your head on your pillow at night and say thank god we will never know :thumb:

I am a NCC fan I have been to every game for the past 2 years, beating Lex cath or Trinity would not happen in my opinion. I do belive we could give CCH or Highlands a good game at this point not a win for us but good games. This team came to a peak at a perfect time it was amazing to see them run away with big wins in every post season game. Great year Breds glad I got to see it all!!!!!! To the maysfield fans in arby's who had words of encouragement for us before the game keep your head's up you had a great year as well :thumb:

I have been saying for the past week it is going to take a great team to beat NCC if Maysfield is that team ill be on here sunday with a :thumb: . Good luck to all involved in this game it has been a great year for both programs.

same here Mike Vicars what a game, I read an article in the paper with Somerset's coach pre game saying they were going to key on Vicars knowing he was an outstanding back and he still had 220 3 td's

Sorry by entire crowde I was saying of Sommerset fans we had not even seen the NCC boys start to come out yet when they did we quickly silenced the boos. But I can't recall a game where any NCC fan booed the opposing team upon entry to the field.

I remember an entire crowd of boos when NCC first hit the field sir so i think anything you hear after that is fair game. Do tell some of the things that offended you so, if i had to guess you were more offended by the fact that you were losing and put us under a microscope. Honestly i dont know what you expect for all NCC fan's to be standing at the gate with a welcome basket and a good luck kiss, The fact is we do not want you to win and thats how I personaly act in the stands. I cheer loud when things go our way and boo when they dont.

Arrogance is not a trait anyone wants in my opinion I believe cofidence is a better word if that is the case.

You have a fan named Yosemite Sam who came on here a week ago after we beat LCA and said "your season is over the jumpers are coming and you have no chance" . Then this same class act went to the Btown Danville thread and told Btown to get ready for the jumpers. If that is not arrogant I dont know what is. 90% of every fan base are good people who just support a team you are making a judgement based on th 10%. You would not like it if i judged you based on Yosemite Sam .
