  1. Tough one to let get away today after a nice early lead.
  2. Had the Reds not scored a run in the ninth, this would have been only the second home series (3 games or more) in franchise history scoring one or fewer runs.
  3. Os 2 Reds 1. Same story as last night. Great pitching but not much hitting.
  4. Agree with much of what you say. The very best of the Moreheads and Daytons of the world are all gonna be cherry-picked. Every one of them.
  5. It isn’t just twenty bucks a pop to sign a stack of 8X10s, that’s for sure.
  6. Reds manage just two hits and no runs against Os pitching. Greene did his job but got no run support.
  7. Having a stud jumper or two is often the key to a title. Pile up points in the vertical and horizontal jumps.
  8. You oughta watch an EPL match. With those guys it’s nose blowing.
  9. The draft grades that I’ve seen for the Steelers have been extremely positive. Top three.
  10. The couple of draft grades I’ve seen have the Bengals in the middle of the pack.
  11. Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like semantics. Third choice/offered vs third seriously considered/wanted.
  12. I keep hearing Matt Jones call Pope “Barnhart’s third choice”, as if that is a pretty good thing. I’m assuming that Mitch at the very least made Hurley and Wright say no, and possibly (but not certainly) Donovan. Drew was on the short list. What am I missing)
  13. Smallish compared to most of the tackles drafted, but he will be okay.
  14. KY Milesplit is pretty much the go-to for track and field. It’s always interesting to me to compare virtual/projected vs actual results. Projections are tough because there are sooooo many variables.
  15. Good pick. Keep JB upright at all costs. The guy may have gone a pick or two higher had he not had an ankle last season.
  16. My first question. Will the Stripes trade up to get Bowers (TE - Georgia)?
  17. In the long run you may be right. Recency bias will wear off eventually.
  18. The guy looks like he can’t jump over the Maysville phone book. And is the most complete player in the game.
  19. On some level, I chalk this one up to a long trip to get back home.
  20. I did learn one thing last night. If you’re Nick Nurse, don’t bother trying to call a late timeout on the road (especially in New York) with the game on the line. You will be summarily ignored.
