This will not happen. The Ray Correll Bowl is Somerset's bowl and in part is put on by the Somerset Football Booster Club and The Varsity Club. Ray Correll played at Somerset not PC.

I agree on the dressing area problem. But until someone from Somerset either it be Sears, Cobb, or Tucker comments on the situation I'm not going to comment on it.

Somerset has some one of the better football facilities in the state. Have you ever been here? Lets leave Sears out of this arguement. Unless Johnny has been in a cave it's no secret here in Somerset that the field was redone in early June. The field would have been in great shape but we had some bad turn of events. Johnny was just jabbing Somerset in the face after his victory. Although it's not in great shape I have seen worse fields.

My thoughts exactly! I'm sure that old Johnny has known the condition of the field for some time now and the circumstances around it. His statement on the field was an after the fact jab in the face. :fight: His complaining about walking around the field to get to the other side is just sorry. I've been to several stadiums around the state with the SAME exact setup--Danville being 1st that comes to mind. You don't hear any complaining about there setup. As for the locker rooms, I don't know lets let Cobb or Tucker comment on that and I'm sure they will! My suggestion is if Johnny doesn't like it then just don't play in it. :thumb: Somerset can play a top notch out of county team and Southwestern will be happy to do the same.

Being a homer I think that Somerset will win this game! I expect it to be another charged up crowd against the Jumpers. I'm looking forward to see if Cobb can correct the big gaps in the Jumper defense. Somerset 35-28

Almost all of the offense came by rushing. Muse ended up rushing for 4 td's and had 200 plus yards himself.

I'm not for sure, but both Hines and Muse deserve the MVP.

To most yes but I had several Maroon fans predicting this result. Both teams has no defense of any count, so you be the judge.

The Maroons really exposed a major problem in the Jumper defense...the secondary. Its really bad when you have to rotate 6-8 players in trying to find the right combination. Cobb finally had 2-3 freshman playing! Congratulations Muse and company on a fine game plan and some fantastic runs. Good luck the rest of the season. Somerset will hopefuly fill some of the big gaps tonight and have a successful season.

Get your pencil ready. I think that Hines has rushed close to 300 yards tonight and not for sure about Muse but he has three rushing td's and a whole bunch of yards. One game note, I'm absolutely embarresed about how many Jumper players were cramping up tonight. At least one every play and sometimes two. Cole for one hasn't played much the 2nd half due to many cramps.

Who from the Somerset administration is using the numbers as an excuse. No one that I've heard!!! As to AverageJoesGym statements, how can you argue with them. Please guys give me a break saying that numbers don't mean anything in football. Why do we even have a class system then? When Somerset scrimmaged North Laurel they dressed 70-80 players and had a whole different offensive and defensive unit- but hey numbers don't mean squat!

Was reading in todays newspaper that the admission prices are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for elementary through college students.

That is incorrect, a few more teams have moved up in class. Two that come to mind are Russellville-Class A to Class AAA, and Highlands -Class AAA to Class AAAAA.

I'm pretty sure student prices are still $10.00, not for sure on the young ones.

Hold on to your hat because I've heard $10.00 per person.

elwhit95, did the new pa speakers come in today? Do they sound any better than the vintage speakers we have now?

Were they painting the field goals today? I noticed they had the tall ladders out today on them.

Somerset is due to get new lighting next year.

I drove by today and the play clocks look very nice, this should cut down on the needless delay of game penalties...:thumb: I'm looking forward to hearing the new PA system with the new speakers, we've needed them for some time now!

IMO the decision if to push the start times needs to be made tomorrow so there's no confusion whatsoever friday and fans aren't needlessly sitting in the extreme hot temperatures not knowing the game time was pushed back.
