  1. I didn't get to attend the AIT but listening to the radio last night I heard the MVP award was sponsored by Ledford Family Practice. As most people know Dr.Ledford was the team doctor who passed away Monday. He was very involved in Ashland Athletics and the community as a whole. I don't know who chose the MVP. I believe someone from a team other than the winning team has been chosen before and it wasn't an Ashland player. I don't have the facts on this though. I feel safe in saying that if any Ashland player had won MVP last night no matter how large the trophy was, it would not have been a joke to them. They would have carried it with pride. Congrats to Mason Co on a great win and congrats to Will Skaggs.
  2. Great job Kittens! You won a hard fought battle.
  3. I just found this thread. Prayers from Ashland.
  4. Good luck. I'm a 25 yr. veteran FF in Ashland and a word from the (not) so wise. You'll need to be in top shape to pass the rigorous physical testing procedure. Strength and endurance are the key.
  5. Prayers from Ashland for you and your family.
  6. Prayers to Spindoc, his mother, and his family.
  7. Good Luck to the Tomcats. You have worked hard and you can pull out the win. A big Thank You to the Rams and all the other locals for your support. I hope for an injury free game for both teams.
  8. What if sports is the only chance for the teen parent to get a college education to make a better life for themselves and their child? Providing they have a good support system.
  9. I really don't know why. I don't know Brooke personally and I don't know her situation. I do wish her well. St. Joe has a really good basketball program. I do believe she has verbally committed to Furman.
  10. Brooke is now playing for Huntington St. Joe.
  11. I think she looks like a Mollie.
  12. You are so right spindoc! Their bbq is also amazing!
  13. In all of Nat's interviews she said the reason Jessie didn't vote for her was because he was bitter that she did not feel the same way he felt about her and she was getting engaged. In Jessie's interviews he said he went into the finale not knowing who he was going to vote for but picked Jordan because she won the 2 hoh's and Nat's answers to the jury questions helped him decide.
  14. Congratulations! My son also participated in this program. He took the SAT in the seventh grade and the ACT in high school. He is now a sophomore at UK (full ride) majoring in Chem Engineering. Please keep encouraging him. It is a very good program.
