  1. No I in TEAM!!!! As a fan of highschool football and parent/booster of Lincoln CO football I have seen several kids take on new positions and support roles for their team. These positions many times are less glamourous than what they have done in the past, but very benifical to the team. The advocate messenger does a story on this subject from time to time, about the BC or Danville player who moved from running back to lineman as example. This move is for the team and I am sure the player would rather stay in the spotlight pos. This player who makes this move/sacrifice and accepts it ,is a TEAM player. BC has players change positions almost every year to help the team. I think this plays a part in their success year in and year out. The move itself helps the team, but I think it does more than that; It develops team chemistry and creates a "whatever it takes to win attitude" . Lincoln has several players this year that play support roles that are somewhat new to them. Most only play "O" or "D" which helps the team finish ballgames in better shape. HATS OFF TO THE TEAM PLAYERS OF KY HIGHSCHOOL FOOTBALL!:thumb:
  2. WINNERS BOYLE CORBIN DANVILLE GARRAD LINCOLN MERCER Take it to the bank!
  3. 4. Do you mean to say "AS YOOUU UNDERSTAND IT" no recognition is given to the team who finishes the regular season district with the best record?
  5. YOU KNOW IT! :thumb: Lincoln will be coming home after this game; hopefully for several games. I usually follow BC after the regular season is over, its going to be nice to see LC in the playoffs for at least one game! CONGRATS LINCOLN!!! KEEP YOUR CHIN STRAPS TIGHT AND YOUR MOUTHPIECE IN....TAKE IT TO THE VILLE:D
  6. HEY.........!!!!!!!!!! it`s ducks in a row... not staying on track!!!:dancingpa CMON!!!!
  7. Winner: MALE Why : THEY ARE BETTER:D
  8. Big daddy said Miller had a shoulder injury from the JAG game???? Does anyone know how he is doing?:scared:
  9. It looks like it....Montgomery and Madison Central are tough, but I think the PATS can do it! :ylsuper:
  10. I think tie breakers in district goes to the head to head winner.
  11. Lincoln is also getiing a taste of success that they haven`t had for several years............THEY ARE HUNGRY FOR THE DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP!! MC will have to play their best game as well.
  12. Great job Rebels....the score reminds me of some wins in the 90`s when the DEFENSE would dominate the game.:thumb:
  13. I agree Montgomery is alot better. If they had took care of biz at GRC this game would be between two undefeated district leaders. The game is no less important. Coach French said his team lacked focus last week, but i thought they played well throughout. 28-12 Lincoln
  14. Coming off last weeks disapointing loss, Clark will have their ducks in a row. 35-7 GRC :ylsuper:
  15. This is a big district match up being played at Montgomery.....what yall think?
  16. Good game Pats! Except for a score shortly after a fumble resulting in a short field situation NL wasn`t able to put any points up against a stingy LC defense. LC made a big defensive stand inside their own five just before the half. If NL had scored then, they possibly could have made a game of it, because the got the ball to start the 2nd half.....GREAT JOB LINCOLN; KEEP ROLLIN:ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper:
  17. Clay Clevenger is doing a good job at Lincoln Co. this year. He handels the offense and I think helps out in other areas as well. He shows good coaching and leadership skills, even though this is his 1st year at LC. Congrats to Clay and the team.:thumb:
  18. Lincoln 34 N.Laurel 14..............GO !!! PATRIOTS !!!!!!!!
  19. Several Lincdoln boys have played for d-ville over the years....but thats another story.:sssh:
  20. Congrats to Lincoln on a good win over a quality team. Hats off to GRC for fighting the entire game and almost coming back on the pats. Lincolns game looked a lot like the ROCK & WHITLEY game, they jump out early and then rely on the defense to hold onto the win for 3 quarters. The offense needs to put 4 quarters together.
  21. It`s interesting you mention athletes moving to different schools...... lincoln has lost several good players to the MIGHTy ADMIRALS :HILL.. MOORE;COOPER;LYNN;GRIMES;TEATER;.....MEMORY FAILS;....WITTEN WAS ENROLLED AT BOYLE AND MOVED TO D-VILLE!!!!!!!!!:ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper:
