Although it would take a really, really, really, terrible game from Elliott to get knocked off in their regional(IMO), anything can happen!!!!!!!!!!:scared:

I hope Elliott win's it all, but they will not just waltz to the State final's! Shelby Valley and Hazard two teams I am familiar with are very tough. I am sure there are some more around the state that are very good as well!!!!!!!!!!

I am probably their most avid fan, and I know they are not saint's!!!!!!!!!! They make mistakes just like everyone else. They all made mistakes last night, but none to the extent some are on here trying to imply. Ferg is the meekest kid on the team and has never been in the principal's office, but he has two T's on the season thus far. Point is it is a spirited game and people are going to have adverse reactions sometimes that is just Basketball. Its not that I am saying they can't or won't do wrong....I am saying there was nothing out of sorts last night which has been the main discussion of this thread. If anything out of sort's happened it would be the judgement call of the referee's I would assume. Therefore if the ref's don't see anything happening or warn of any violation's then I would say someone is grasping at straw's!! The ref's are the judge and jury on the floor. They have rules and I am sure some of those rule's are based on judgement call, intensity of the game, etc, etc. In last night's game there were no warning's, no T's, no stopping to reprimand players, it was actually a very peacable and quite game. With that knowledge in hand I am going to make the statement that nothing worth discussing happened!!:thumb:

Hey easy Cats!! If you will re-read my post you will see it is basically the same points that you made in the one above. You will also realize that I don't need to have my eyes checked because I stated that ALL kids in EVERY game I had watched complains and throws their hands up about calls made by the officials. What I said was that I didn't see no one getting out of hand like GTM was stating. AND everyone is always picking on Elliott!!!!!!!!!!

At the Ec/Wc game the Elliott players were no worse than the Wc players about complaining to the officials. And the Wc coach was constantly on the floor screaming at them. I also just got through watching the Elliott/Fairview game on video and if I were the judge I would throw GTM's case out of court for lack of evidence!!!!!!!!!! There were players on both sides who made faces at calls and threw their hands up like "no way" just as there are in about every game I watched this year. I am sure that if a kid cusses in a game loud enough for Joe Coldiron or Bobby Hall to hear they will be T'd up. Seem's like people are always trying to find something to pick on these boys about.

If I was you, and felt strongly enough to bring it up in two different thread's, I would just quit following them and not keep in touch with their games.:madman:
