I thought that the Cov Cath Student section was very well behaved tonight with the way they treated Michael. Romes didnt have the greatest game, but his former classmates were not all over him as i suspected. Nice Job guys, way to show colonel pride, and class. Good showing too considering the Rose Bowl being at 8

Ryle has a lot of young talent........but better than Beechwood. I do not think so. I believe it should go Beechwood, Ryle, CCH. IMO

Humphrey is a good pitcher, but i dont believe he comes near the top ten in the state. Maybe if he takes Ryle out of there district this year single handedly you can look like that but not now for him.

I know for a fact that none of these kids are as strong as Guigduli. But have you ever seen Billy Schult play? He out hustles everyone on the floor and is one of the only kids that i have seen that dives all over the floor for balls. He also isnt selfish, knows when to shoot and when to pass. Not as strong but he hustles more than anyone i have seen play this year.

If you read the post i responded to i was stating some of the players who will be prospects next year with this years junior class being so strong. In football we heard NKy would have a down year,... im Bball we are hearing that Nky is going to have a down year,... Next year NKY bball is going to be quite a show if u ask me

Also you can't leave out St. Henry's Craig Shanks (a solid 3rd basemen and pitcher) and Ben Kuebbing ( another good pitcher and solid outfielder) Also maybe even Adam Gilcrest (Beechwood fans remember him i believe pitching 7 or 8 innings againist Beechwood and handing them a lost while Curley was the other pitcher) All junior but all solid players.

Tierney, Schriever, Bleser, Blazejewski, Larkin, and Farrell will try to defend the Colonels Regional title this year agianist the Tigers who obviously have the big guns this year. Especially with Chas Moore playin this year. Its going to be interesting when you know these teams will see each other atleast 2 times maybe 3 with them being in the same district.

Being a Cov Cath fan, to show an unbias opinion, i think you could also add St. Henry's Lenhoff, and Kuebing, and since we are talkin about NKY and not the 9th region u could also add in Hester out of SK and Uebal (spelling?) out of Brossart

Congratulations to all who made the list. One question of mine is how did Lexington Catholics kicker make second team over Roch from Covington Catholic who made third team. Does anybody else who was at the CovCath v Lex Cath game agree that Roch should have been ahead of him???

Im not taking anything away from Brady, but Brett had 6 interceptions (2 more that were called back 1 vs. NCC and one vs. Beechwood i believe and they should have been interceptions) and with the schedual they played there is no way Brett should have not made first team. Had covcath played him both ways i imagine he would have been one heck of a threat as reciever. Think about it Brett Sutton, Peter Sutton, and Kurt Bovard. WOW. Brett had a hell of a year and not to take anything away from Brady, but i believe brett should be ahead of him

sutton should have been first team over anyone esspecially hunefeld mcgee should have been first team over kammer castanada and flynn should have at least been 2nd team hundson should have made 1st team D if not 2nd over spradlin (who didnt even play d line most of the season) thats my opinion on the colonel front

I for one think that Lex Cath is going to slaughter Highlands. Dont get me wrong, Highlands has a good team, but There is no way that HHS can even begin to stop the fantastic 4. Defensively, the birds may be able to run, but dont be looking for any deep passes to save you like in the CCH game, Lex Cath has a DB that is like glue. If Lex Cath can stop Kramer at all i say 49-21 Lex Cath, if Kramer is on 49-35 Lex Cath

Highlands without a doubt but than also probably Dixie this year too cause they have beat CCH 4 years in a row!
