Well, the guard is an all region player. My odds are 50/50 he goes. The big is a work in progress, but if he ever gets as good as his old man- WV would have the top two big men in the region. I think he will be at WV. With all that said, it may be some of the deepest team talent the 8th has had in a long while. Several top 30-40 teams. Anderson is very good. Oldham is very good. Simon has a lot of pieces. Anderson, Shelby, Collins, and Spencer - the two teams that don't make region might be good enough to win the other districts. I like Anderson and Collins to come out of this district,but I would not be shocked if Shelby and Spencer came out.

Walton will have the best pieces. Miles could be player of the year. If they get the guard transfer that is rumored they will be the paper champion.

Awesome support of your player, but Stanley cannot out rank Penny. I say this despite enjoying watching Stanley more than Penny. Penny is as quick, stronger, taller, and they shoot about the same.

Do your kids play hard, do they buy into team vs me, do your players grasp the bigger picture- kids look up to you, you have a higher standard, etc., do they strive to be the best they can be. Do those things- the wins will take care of themselves. Does that mean you won't get fired- NO, but someone else will hire you.

I enjoyed it when they alternated the tournament. The Louisville kids would come out in mass when it was in the ville.

The day and age of a big tournament is over. Red book issues prevent schools from sending people. My school used to buy 10-12 tickets. Now, none. This is happening all over the state. Look at local games. There are very few communities that support their high schools anymore. I don't see the trend changing. The tourney used to have kids running around everywhere. Not now. KHSAA tries to cater to the young audience but they are not interested. Old folks want a program-KHSAA refuses, offers it electronic. If you lose 20 old folks every year it adds up. I think it will continue to dwindle regardless of when it is played.
