I'm not disagreeing with you, but don't you think that the 9 months on the job makes it a little too early to determine exactly how good a job she is really doing, or how respected she may or may not become? Dan Rather anchored the CBS Evening News for 24 years. Tom Brokaw anchored NBC's broadcast for 23 years and is still widely "regarded as the most popular news personality in the United States". Most liked him more than Mr. Rather or Mr. Jennings. Peter Jennings anchored ABC's broadcast for 22 years. Katie Couric deserves some leniency regarding the time she has spent learning the ins and outs of this position.

You aren't going to believe this, but this is honestly the first line that came up! Jaclyn is first and continues to be flawless. The judges respond by counting the tiles on the ceiling and remarking that Jaclyn needs to look at the "people Google knows me well! :sssh: :lol:

Why in the world would they let someone go that has done so much good for a program? :confused: From what I've read, there doesn't seem to be any justification for this. I don't have any ties to this school, but the student athletes and parents deserve a better explanation that what has been presented so far!

We've been paying close to $3.00 a gallon lately. I don't like any of these high prices (gas and milk, for example)!

I agree with you! I know I couldn't do it either! I guess it would have to be an unbelievable amount of money before I would even consider it! I would like to think that I could do it for someone with cancer, or a worthy cause like that, but I'm at least I'm honest in saying that I don't think I could do it.

I haven't been on the computer much since Thursday night's finale, but I thought that the season finale left a little bit to be desired. I'm comparing this to the 1st and 2nd season's final shows. While I say that, I still love watching the show. Yes, Callie is the new "Chief Resident". Dr. Weber is the "Chief of Surgery" and it looks like McDreamy has a heart too by telling him to keep the job and "do things over". I really like Addison and hate to see her leave. I don't have any idea what is going to happen with Burke and George. I hope they stay. Well, that's my take. I guess it's reruns until September!

Chips and salsa with Mexican or a fresh salad with most everything else. I also love fresh, hot rolls and the cinnamon butter from Buckhead's.

I really don't care what brand it is for a tennis shoe, as long as it's comfortable for walkings. I've mostly worn Nike or New Balance, but I have worn Addias. For dressing up, I love Stuart Weitzman's shoes! I also like Steve Madden, Nine West, and XOXO. I will admit, that like most women, I LOVE SHOES, but the BGP server wouldn't crash! I don't buy just to buy, but I'll admit that I have a few pairs that I don't wear very much, but you never know when they might be appropriate! I've learned that you can get great buys on eBay too! :thumb:

I think that there are more reasonable ways to get gasoline prices to come down. Here are a few. 1. Make sure that you don't have to make multiple trips to run errands such as grocery buying, going to the bank, dropping of dry cleaning, etc. 2. Car pool when it's possible with friends. This is also a great way to enjoy their company while driving to a movie or a restaurant. 3. Car pool to work, if that is possible. Take turns driving each week, if your schedules work out so that it is convenient. 4. Keep your tires inflated properly and rotated. 5. Don't jack - rabbit start and stop your vehicle. These are just a few of the things that I have either heard or read in the last couple of years. Feel free to add to the list, especially if you have a really good suggestion that would help everyone save a few dollars here and there! I don't own an SUV, but sometimes wish I did just for the conveniences that have been pointed out in earlier posts.

I'm sorry to have caused such a disagreement! I just posted information that was provided to me. It may not happen, and the person that provided me the information never said that it would definitely happen. I was wondering myself as well because of all the celebrations that are planned the next few days. I'm not an expert and do not profess to be one! I also don't have a "hot-line" to Coach Donovan, Pitino, Dick Vitale or anyone else you would like to name.

The Press Conference has been moved to 2:00 PM on Wednesday and it remains "in a flexible position" based on my friend's information.

Yesterday, a friend of mine that works within the UK Athletics Department, told me that there is a press conference set for 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, April 4th. No, I don't know "exactly" what the subject matter will be, but my friend said it was for "Billy", and this is not an April Fool's joke!
