I said the "toughest" not the most talented. Phisically no team as of yet has matched up with X. Trinity of course is the most talented team we have played.:thumb:

I think the 1988 Trinity State Championship team finished in the top 5 in the country. If my memory serves me right.

#27 played. Had around 100 yds rushing and 2tds.

I doubt Hall will play in this one. If you do your history on the St.Xavier program you will find that not many kids have played both ways for Coach Mike Glaser. The 6 deep at running back mentioned in the thread is based on next years potential lineup, not this season. As for the game, St.X was up 42-0 on Lexington Cath after 1qt without Daylen Hall playing offense. With HHS more than likely bringing down varsity kids for this game I would be looking for a very close game.

Is #7 the varsity qb also? If so thats taking a huge risk.

X plays 2-3 juniors on jv. None see alot of playing time on the varsity level.

Because we never underestimate our opponent, and every game means something. If you don't like my post, don't read it. Your type of mentality is what hurts "the rest" as you say.

What did Highlands do against Lex Cath?

Daylen Hall Louisville St.Xavier. Daylen has snuck up on the state of Kentucky. Injured the past two seasons he has exploded on to the scene this season at the varsity and jv level. Plays four positions all at a very high level. Speed is very good for a sophomore at 4.4. Very bright future.

Coming off a bye week is never easy.

Tigers looked pretty good tonight. Lamont McMurray played for the first time this year scoring 3 rushing tds. Daylen Hall scored 2 tds including a 99yd ko return.

This could be a tough game for the Tigers.

Daylen just turned 15 in August:eek: he would have been a wonderful redshirt;)

It will be interesting to see what Coach Glaser does next season with the glut of running backs he has in the sophomore class,don't forget Beach! Junior class has Neal and Montano, both very solid. Hall has more size and speed than Hayden and McMurray but has played solid DB at the varsity level this year. Nice problem for any coaching staff to have.

Daylen Hall scored 5tds leading the St.X offensive attack. Matthew Wilson had a huge night on defense with 2 ints. Nice win Tigers.

This game went down to the final drive. X fought hard despite huge size difference. Montano ran hard scoring the only X TD. Bickell played solid LB along with a Daylen Hall 15 tackle performance. Nice effort JV's!
