I think PC will be back on track. The last lost showed them that they are beatable and they must come to play every night. Harrison is no pushover though, plus they have the homecourt advantage. This should be a battle to the finish, but PC should win this one and the District! GO CATS!

Congrats to Mason, who just outplayed PC tonight. Everytime PC get within 2 or 3 Mason would hit a big 3. Mason County just wanted this one more. It seemed to me that the refs let these kids play too much tonight. I thought several times that someone is going to get hurt from both teams. I think Mason had 1 foul at the end of the half and PC had 3. I really didn't want to see someone get hurt right before districts.

The only thing that I know will happen during the JV game is that Coach Brad Cox for the Wildcats will be dressed very sharply. The game should be a good one as well. :thumb:

Maybe a more appropriate thread would be 9th region and 10th region coach of the year. That would eliminate the age old argument as to whether certain schools should be included.

Eagles, you're crazy! Just messing. PC should win, but winning during tournament time is much more important. We especially don't want to get anyone else hurt down the final stretch. I think PC will pull it out though by 4.

Good post Birdman. That is now 24 in a row at home for PC. 29 in a row agaisnt 10th region opponents. 19 in a row overall.

Yes, if PC played like they did last night all the time, then there could be 5-6 teams in the 11th that could beat them. But last night was not their best performance. When PC is on top of thier game they are right up there in the state, thus putting them at the same level, if not better than the Scott County's and Station's of the world. Franklin's big men did a solid job last night, but after hearing the stats, I would have to give the big man advantage to Belcher and Elliott. Elliott had 25 pts, 13 boards while Belcher had 13 and 11. Chambers had 10 and 7 while Straw had 11 and 6. Franklin has two solid big men, some jet quick guards and they throw in some good shooters to round out the lineup. They are solid, and are my sleeper in the 11th.

Another good win for PC....they just keep rolling...yes the game was at PC.

Good thing the PC players and coaches are actually worried about Franklin County on Tuesday. They are a solid ball club with two 6'7 post players and some solid guards. They just won at Madison Central last week. The worry should should be on getting these guys first and sending the Seniors out in style for their last home game. After that, then we can worry about the Royals!!

If highlands is much deeper, and better coached, and 21-3 why is it an upset?

Actually the tenth region now has a whole district in Campbell and Kenton Co. When it is their turn to host the regional they can vote to have it at the new arena. The problem has always been seating and having another venue that is big enough to hold it. With the new arena it would be bigger than the fieldhouse. Don't be surprised if it is there in a few years.

Well they saw it last year and have a good chance this year as well. What is wrong with that? If you get there you have a chance. South Laurel proved that last year.

Chad Simms from Pendleton County is more than ready as well. Big part of the success the last 5 years at PC.

Agreed but the reality is those schools are hurting themselves in all the sports they are in the 10th or 8th region. If your goal is to win those regions and compete at a state level you must play all the good schools in that region. Otherwise you are just treading water. Ask the kids what they would rather win the NKAC or the REGION?

I heard Happy Osborne from GTown was at the PC/GC game tonight. I would guess he would be looking at Elliott and Elrod, whose dad is a hall of famer there.
