  1. I am sure coach Bradly did not run the score up. His subs are still pretty good and if Fairview put their 5th and 6th graders in I would say their is not a whole lot he could have done.
  2. East Carter is a really good team. They shot the 3 very well tonight and are very physical. Rose Hill girls played better in the second half when they started passing the ball more and playing as a team.
  3. On a side note I never said Rose Hill would not have a team next year if that is what some of you are thinking. I said this group would not be together, you never know who will enroll at the school????????
  4. I would never try to destroy Rose Hill. I wished these girls would stay together and play all through high school. I have been with Rose Hill for 13 years and hate that this is going on, and for those of you that know me knows that is a fact. All I am saying is you have some girls that have said they do not want to play anymore, they are loosing a senior, and one that is not happy, and the other just wants to play and is afraid that there will not even be a team there that she can play on unless they play 6th and 7th graders. Lets face it they have a small team and if you loose one or two girls then it would be hard to put a team on the floor that could compete. And yes Ashland girls do have a great time on and off the court and they seem to be a very close team. This is what it takes to win ballgames.
  5. Trust me most of these girls know this.
  6. Yes I was one of those fans that thought these girls (and they would have been) would be real contenders in the 16th. Some things just are not meant to be. I wish all these girls the best of luck whatever happens, they are a great group of girls and have been very fun to be around. All I can say is lets try to work together and finish the season strong.
  7. Yes I would say this is a different team than you have seen the last few years considering they start 1 senior, 1 soph, 2 8th graders and 1 seventh grader. Like I have said before this is a very young team that never gives up, the younger group has won many games in the past and could have been a very special group in about 2 years. Those that have seen these girls play in the past and at the beginning of the year would have to agree. Unfortunately I am pretty sure that this team will not be back together as a whole team next year.
  8. Ashland has a very good team that is older, quicker and stronger than the young lady Royals. The girls never give up but they are struggling right now.
  9. I am pretty sure the Ashland game has been moved to Saturday at 10 in the morning.
  10. Rose Hill will play Boyd Feb 5.
  11. From my understanding Rose Hill plays Fairview at 6 and Bath at 8 tonight at Raceland and will play Ashland on Feb 12.
  12. If Scott Gambills elbow is ok this year he will also be one to watch for at Rose Hill. Great defense and good pitcher, struggles at the plate at times. Martin is probally the best all around player.
  13. Laisha Ward from Ashland is a very nice player.
  14. For Rose Hill Gambill 27 Day 17 Hamilton 8 Friley 6 Cullop 2 Mayes 3 For Greenup Isaac 3 Pope 9 Barlow 4 Brown 7 Grizzle 18 Lowe 4 Fox 4
  15. Glad to see the young lady royals get a win ,they have some very tough games coming up. These girls play very hard and they will battle to the end.
  16. Does anyone know tomorrows schedule?
  17. Yes she is still the coach of girls team.
  18. Rose Hill has a very young team this year they have 1 senior, 2 soph, 1 freshman, 4 8th graders, and 3 7th graders. They usually start senior, soph, 2 8th graders and a 7th grader. These girls know that they are young and realize that they will not win a lot of games but they are very hard workers and are working hard for the future. You will never see this bunch give up in a game no matter what the score is.
  19. I am pretty sure that you do not pay to play in this tournament.
  20. In small school Rose Hill defeated Fallsburg in 7th Rose Hill defeated Mckell in 8th
  21. Youth will be Rose Hills only problem.
  22. Ok then, he is probally the biggest hitter on the team, yes this is sad but you can always count on him. If you want me to just throw a name out there just because you do not want a seventh grader mentioned I will, but it will not be the truth(and no i have no relation to this kid just stating facts)
