Well let's just get started, shall we? First, I have identified myself numerous times. No one (that gives a hoot) doubts my identity. You, on the other hand, choose not to reveal yours. Not a problem, but you really ought to be careful up there on that high horse. Second, I did not lay this season at the feet of two people. Either your ability to digest the written word is lacking, or you intentionally took my post for something that it was not. My words "I think Queen and Terry are playing with two more handicaps" do not speak about those handicaps, much less indicate that the handicaps are individual people. When you try to read my mind, please put your glasses on first. Third, I cannot possibly overstate how little I value your opinion, so I guess we'll call that one a push. Fourth, if you don't like my posts, feel free to exercise the "Ignore" feature. My fingers will continue to grace the keyboard, regardless of what you read into my posts. On second thought, knowing that you are bothered by something I did not say makes it all the more likely that you will continue to be heartbroken. Frances

You know he was a heck of a coach - by the end of one season, I was able to dribble with my right hand, watching the ball the whole time, and only lose the ball off my foot out of bounds every fourth dribble or so. Naturally I wasn't quite as steady when being guarded ... Frances PS - I believe that until you went through, I held the school record for blocking my own shots in one game.

Oh yeah! Well, what about the undefeated 69-70 Charles Russell Indians squad that won the City Championship, and sent four players to the Buddy Ball league in Ceredo-Kenova? Talk about loaded!! I know - I was the 11th man on that 10 man squad that Coach Kirk took to the promised land... Frances PS - that was before the surgery.

Congrats to Kasey and his family. Hard to tell just what kind of numbers he might have put up, if he played for a coach with less class than McGlone. While I'm at it, I'd also give a big "Congrats" to his offensive line. That's the kind of award that reflects on a lot of other people, as well as the back that gets it. :thumb: Frances

Sounds like it was close until the end. West won by 12, and ended the game on a 12-2 run. Is the region pretty balanced, with Russell leading the way? Is West a pretty good team? I know that for about a ten year run or so, they were the top dogs in Girls' basketball. Frances
