  1. This thread "Pulaski 62 Somerset 49" is exactly what I have posted about. The only times I believe I have strayed off thread is to defend our program from the bashing. If one would recall I did predict the Maroon victory, contrary to the 80% poll taken. I realize that is what brought the wrath of others against me. I did stick to my position through-out. As it turned out. my prediction did prevail. The poll was wrong. All posters were wrong except swforever, MaroonMadness, and ole Keemo. I apoligize if I over looked someone. Nevertheless, it is over. You Somerset posters have talked the talk, now it is time to walk...:walk: :walk: :walk:
  2. Post #59 was merely responding to anothers post and I did say "if it were true". The #62 was in response to one of your posters snide remarks concerning "cornfed". Reread and reconsider please. I am not going to go nit-picking as you just did. That is why myself and others fire back. Heck, we have some posters and loyal SWHS supporters that are grads of SHS. They speak negatively of SHS (their alma mater) as do some of our Coaches. Evidently the bitterness and hatred is deeply seeded. I am not that familiar with your program from the past. All I know is what I have seen over the past few years. Its either YOUR way or the highway. I choose to travel. Am I wrong? ...
  3. ... IMHO, if some of you SHS posters would try to be a little less aggressive towards us corn fed boys then maybe , jusy maybe, you would receive less flac. I feel that "you do not throw rocks when you live in glass houses". I make a statement and you counter with throwing rocks. Take your bat and go on home...
  4. ... Oh I see, it is okay to dish it out but do some of us have a hard time taking?...  :sleep:I will also tell that game film is available on tackling. We had alittle problem with the Rock, but would go out on a limb and say I wish we had the same opportunities PC had, with our Defense SHS would NEVER score that many points, IMHO...Hopefully SHS and SWHS will go at it next year if SHS does not try to weasel out...
  5. ...TT is okay...Concussion. Went hosp. and did return to watch biggest part of SHS and PC. He will be ready to go ...:thumb:
  6. ...Come on now, you're not that bad...Are Ya'?...
  7. ...Whether you want to hear it or not, we must being something right in conditioning. Not one Warrior down because of cramps whole game. Our Kids have gator-aid/ power-aid available 24/7. Since my reasoning is so wrong, what is your reasoning for all the cramping of your team from the get-go. I would like to know so as we never do it...
  8. ...Come on down. Thanks alot for the compliment. Come early, meet some us SWHS bluegrass posters if you wish...
  9. Hey dads, I can fix you up with the Danville / Southwestern game this coming Friday. I am Southwestern and can only help you with the one game and would be glad to help. Lets get on PM and discuss specifics. Once you PM me I will get back with you...:thumb:
  10. ...I am originally from Dayton. I have seen Highlands the last couple years. If they are up to par, then expect TM to have their hands full...Good luck!!!
  11. The MC defense also contributed to, and were breaking on the ball nicely...
  12. ..What is really sad is that the ole cornfed boys across the road have an air-conditioned fieldhouse with poweraid dispensers 24/7. Trust from thier Coaches and Familys. also a conditioning program year round. Pitiful..
  13. The Danville Admirals have always given us all we can handle. They is why we choose to challenge Coach Harp and his Team. I hope we can hang with all that speed and be competitive against their air attact. It will be a fun night at the Reservation. We have reasonable gate and everyone will treated like family. We do not serve Home-cooking if you know what I mean. The Ads always treated us good when we venture to Danville and we are more that glad to recipricate. The only thing is we will TRY to send you good folks home with a loss. That is a big job. Gamenight will be our Youth League Night and there will be plenty of Kids. Bring yours, we are a Kid friendly enviorment...:dancingpa
  14. After viewing the Danville / Madison Central game I have come to the conclusion that Coach Turner and his Staff have a very fine team at MC. They will be a finalist in the Region and possibly further. They did handle a great program at Danville quite easily. Too many interceptions (5) and I believe a fumble loss. The "D" could not deal with the multi-faceted attack of MC. Unless they pick up their game they could possibly be in for a long night at the Reservation...:thumb:
  15. ... If all this is true, and Coach Cobb kept his Players from 3:00pm in unconditioned fieldhouse until gametime because Kids get into things after school is rediculous. What was he thinking? Those Kids should have been kicked- back in air conditioning and consuming lots of gator-aid for hydrating. If this was not done then I would not want my Kid under this type supervision. Luckily there was No heat stroke or exhaustion with all the cramps. This heat has been killer and to not take all sensible precautions would be very irresponsible and I would have to consider the decision making going on at Somerset. This is not the first, providing the above mentioned information is correct. I did not notice 1 SWHS player suffering from cramps. What does that tell you without me going into our procedures at SWHS...
  16. We enjoy playing the best. Even in a loss it is gratifying to have played against some of the best. It has been a traditional thing at SWHS to schedule the best year after year. Really, I enjoy a loss to the best as long as our Kids put forth the best they can. To schedule weaker teams is not our trademark. What satisfaction is there in scheduling lessor teams. My opinion is that you play the best, you learn even in loss. You romp over someone what does our Kids learn?...:thumb:
  17. ... Thank you very much RebelK.
  18. Realizing it is a little premature for Danville posters to get involved with this thread as the Bob Allen Pigskin classic is tonight. However the thread is now open for comment...I predict another hardfought game for the Warriors. The Admirals are now and historically a perenial power in the State. We are always glad to play Coach Harp and the mighty Danville Admirals...:thumb:
  19. ... Winning is the goal, but the character you display in the process is truly golden. Our Kids are respectful to no limit. To show that on the field of battle is priceless...
  20. ...I beg your pardon sir, the Warriors did come to play and were 21-21 when we lost our srarting QB with a concussion. We lost the wind in our sail at that point both offensively and defensively. TT is a leader on the SWHS team. To say we did not come to play is flat wrong...
  21. PC 40-36 4th qtr Someone take it from. Keemo is hitting it Got youth League early...
