Not going to lie, only really care because I have him on my fantasy team.

I'm really trying to keep up with what the law actually is. So here is my understanding. Kentucky has some law on the books regarding marriage. A few years ago there was a public vote to ban gay marriage in the state. The SCOTUS ruled that ban unconstitutional so it no longer is valid. If the above is accurate, what is the wording of the original marriage law in KY that allows gay marriage? Does it just not define it must be a man and a woman? I'm really just trying to figure out why the position that there is no longer any marriage law.

Where did you get that map? I assume the stars represent affiliates? There is one that looks to be in Evansville. As far as I know the only way to listen to him here is if you can pick up 102.7 out of Owensboro. I don't know any Evansville stations that carry him.

@ClerkKimDavis is another one. It is killin me. They are taking shots at people's tweets and getting responses like its the real Kim Davis.

The government, state or federal, cannot discriminate. If the state level is they need to get their hand slapped. That's what happened here. They opened Pandora's box when they got into the marriage business. Why should a man and women be given certain benefits for being "married" while a man and man or woman and woman can't. This has nothing to do with religion. It's about equal benefits and treatment by the state and federal government.

So if a clerk does their job they are spineless and have no morals? Maybe I'm misunderstanding your point.

So because he is only threatening himself means he couldn't attack the officer? He's a threat as long as he has that knife. He either drops it or risks being shot.

If he had a knife, was told to drop it, and refused...I don't care if his hands were up, down, side ways, behind his back, up his butt...they were justified in shooting him based on how close they seem to be to him.

So should the officers wait until he charges them with the knife before shooting him?

Are you saying it's still indefensible even if it turns out he had a weapon?

Anyone supporting Mrs. Davis want to address the fact she is actually in violation of the 1st amendment? The county court clerks office is a government entity that is now sponsoring / endorsing Mrs. Davis version of Christianity.

If the suspect won't drop the gun when instructed, absolutely. You're acting like raising your hands somehow disable the gun from working.

I'm not a cop but will answer. IF he had a gun, his hands being raised does not matter, the shooting is justified. You can't run around acting crazy like he was, pull a gun, and not expect to get shot. So IF he did in fact have a gun I have no issue with the officers shooting him. That said, based on what I can tell from the video alone, it doesn't appear to be any reason to shoot him. But like Jumper_dad said, I will wait for all facts to come out before saying one way or the other.

Is this a serious question? Maybe I missing the point you're working towards with your question.

While I tend to mostly agree with you it's not that black and white. Take the kid that committed suicide for example. He obviously had some mental issues going on and she seems to have given him the shove he needed. If he was a schizophrenic and told her voices were directing him to shoot up a mall and she told him he should go for it, would we not hold her somewhat accountable?

Report I heard on the radio earlier today said the gun used held 14 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. They found 15 shell casings at the screen. They also have him on video although not sure how clear the image is. This guy will be lucky to be alive this time next year.

My nephew had to spend his Sophmore year at alternative school. As far as what they make them do, your description isn't far off from his. However he absolutely hated it. Said most of the kids there had zero ambition to do anything with their life and would most likely end up in jail before or shortly after getting out. There were obviously kids there that had just messed up and were doing their time but would rather be at the regular school. But the majority were just screwed up.

So there is no proof he is using but you claim him to be a cheat? Seems like some faulty logic there. But I guess that's about par for the course with you.
