  2. I wouldn't either, this team has talent (no matter what Tubby bashers want to say.) My opinion is that this UK team is not better than the sum of its parts. The 3 Juniors, along with Meeks and Jasper, are talented basketball players, but it seems like they mostly play an individual game. If most of them are having a good game, UK can play with good teams. If the wheels are off the bus for more than two of them in a game, it's always ugly. They don't feed off of each other is as good a way to say it as any.
  3. After the game last night, I have to take Vandy in this one. Hopefully the Cats can get it together, though.
  4. I think Bradley screams after he finishes brushing his teeth, when he crosses the street, when he turns in his homework, when he...
  5. Too bad Louisville wasn't ranked at the time, then UK would have at least ONE victory over teams in the Top 25...

    What if?

Considering the game UK played, I'm pretty sure if it had been Louisville playing last night instead of the worst team in the SEC without their only good player, the Cards would have romped. I think there's no more question on this subject. If a UK fan can argue that UK could look THAT BAD against a bad team, knowing how badly they needed a win, and that they would have beaten a Top 25 team in LSU's place, I just don't know what to tell them.
  7. That was a long time ago. This is a different team than it was then. So is UK.
  8. The greatest article I ever read on the Kentucky Derby was his. I don't have time to read through it and make sure it's safe for BGP consumption, but if you google it and read it, it's worth the trip- just don't expect it to have too much to do with the Kentucky Derby...
  9. I mean, how can we even pick when we don't know who will be in what region? The only sense it makes is to pick the 4 most probable #1s, since we know they wouldn't be in the same region.
  10. How can you predict upsets without matchups?
  11. What a LAZY article. No mention of the Youth Movement? Don't think it's a factor, Gary?
  12. Football and Basketball. Man I love that...

    What if?

The reason UK beat Louisville in the December game was Louisville's terrible shooting. If Louisville were to play the same game but with the shooting percentages they've had in the past several games, they'd win.
  14. The 'hefty dude' is Pitino's personal assistant. Pitino was after him because he was leaving the court, but the refs were still reviewing whether the shot would count.

    What if?

I think the SEC East would be the best conference in the country if they could ignore the West. But since they can't...

    What if?

Then you're arguing WITH ME against fieldhouse.:thumb:

    What if?

That's how the logic plays out. Another example, if you only want to use one-game leaps: Louisville beat Pitt by 13. Pitt beat GTown by 5. GTown beat Louisville by 8. So can you take the UL-Pitt game and the Pitt-Gtown game and predict the Gtown-UL game? According to your logic, yes, Louisville should cruise. But it would be a mistake.

    What if?

:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb: I don't mind debating, but I would prefer people keep the same positions through the course of it.

    What if?

Oh. My. God. My argument is AGAINST comparative scores. Not for them.

    What if?

So, if UK is a matchup problem, spell it out. You're the one who mentioned Morris in the post about matchup problems, and didn't mention another player: Is it my fault that I took that to mean that Morris was a match up problem for U of L?
