  1. As bugatti said, if he was hitting him only after the ball was tipped, it would be pretty impressive reflexes. We are also not talking mere "contact" #47 has his arm completely around him. Which to me would suggest its not the result of the receive adjusting to the ball. Unless you are suggesting Vocke ran under his arm to do so. I would need to look at the video along with this picture. I can't remember stuff I saw yesterday, yet alone a month ago. Again, it wasn't called and we've certainly moved on. Just like to stir the pot
  2. Couldn't agree more. Of course, maybe he's very happy with Wofford and would have chosen them anyway. He definitely should have received more offers.
  3. Since this thread is clearly still thriving, I wanted to revisit the questionable "no call." I originally called this a bang-bang play and the right call was made. I take it back! Noel was right. It was P.I.
  4. OK, I trust you RM. I guess its a hobby. It would have to be. That's a lot of football to fit in in 3 months time.
  5. Really? How would one pull that off? Sounds just a tad bit unbelievable. Were you Wilt Chamberlain's wingman when he slept with the 20,000 women too?
  6. Wow, total shock. Just got home work and tuned into the game on iHigh. No matter how it turns out, its nice to have a good game. Has it been ugly?. I can't imagine Mayfield is playing as well as last week and trailing by 11
  7. Really still? Give it up. Did you enjoy the basketball game tonight? Read the posts. Nobody has said it was a "bullcrap" call
  8. Yeah, but they don't get to consider whether or not he would have caught it. Its whether he was interfered with or not.Again, I'm ok with that call. I just think they were bad all around. You don't see too many flags picked up and it happened twice tonight. Congrats and Good luck Cards
  9. I think I answered that. I think it was correct either way.
  10. Goaline or just inside the end zone on the final play.
  11. Btw... The worst playoff officiating crew I have seen.
  12. The issue was a no call on a pass interference. Without benefit of video evidence I saw a Bang-bang play that could have been called either way. If they had called it MF would have said the refs handed BW the game. I do want to see it again.
  13. As a Longtime BW fan, those penalties at the end were embarrassing. Coaches should be a calming influence, not try to incite a riot. I was told two penalties on players and two on coaches. I saw the official signal ejection on a coach. I have to say I was not proud to be a tiger fan at the end of that game. An ugly finish to a great game Congrats Cards!
  14. I recall a few people saying that Bellevue had a good chance of winning. I don't recall anyone saying they could "Name the Score" That would be stupid given Frankfort's history. Other than a few bonehead fans, I can assure you that no one in Tigerland is looking past Frankfort.
  15. He's a beast. It will be so much fun watching him for two more years. If he keeps this up, there will be a stack of D1 offers.
  16. Thanks. Always good to hear from someone who was there. Definitely easy to coach on Monday Morning. I also share your hopes for Bellevue next year. Looks like a good future with the new coach.
  17. Sorry, I didn't mean to contribute to that. I certainly realize that if Beechwood is looking past Frankfort to Mayfield, it will be the Panther Nation that will be making the long trip and we will be home eating leftover turkey sandwiches and putting up Christmas Decorations. That said, while some fans (myself included) may be confident and thinking past this week, I can only remember one Beechwood team getting caught looking past an opponent in the playoffs. The coaches generally have the team very focused. If they are caught even talking about the potential next weeks opponent in any way, they will hear about it.
  18. I understand what you are saying, but in my opinion they had already played to win and were winning. I didn't even see any film. This all based off of descriptions of the situation. I wasn't saying go into a prevent either. I'm not a fan of that at any level in any sport. I was simply talking about having faith in your defense and going for it. At that point, your defense had only given up 6pts. I do realize that it may have been a lot closer than the score and Bellevue felt they couldn't hold on by playing safe. If you were there, then tell me. If Bellevue gets the first down (not necessarily score), is the game likely over? Again, all this based off of what I read here, not a video or even a description of the entire game.
  19. They are a good Freshman team. They won the Mid-School? Championship this year. Probably would have made a run in the Big School, but you never know. Also, unlike this year's Seniors, the Freshman team this year was complimented by some very, very good eigth graders. At least 4 that started on Offense. In any case, they will be a great addition to keep the Varsity Tigers well-stocked for a few more season.
  20. I would imagine any regular "Tiger posters" will be there. Beechwood has a great Fan base that don't miss too many games period, yet alone a playoff game. I was pretty impressed with our turnout 2 years ago when MF was the very heavy favorite.
  21. Holy cow! 132 points? Did both defenses play with 10 players?
  22. I don't think it explains it. What was the yardage needed? A 15 pt. lead late in or at the end of the 3rd. You have to be smarter than that. If you can't kick (I don't remember if they have a decent kicker or not) then go for the first down. They were clearly in Frankfort's territory, if not in the Red-zone or closer. I realize its a high-school QB and I don't blame him. Coaches can't put the kid in that situation. Even a mediocre team should be able to protect at 15 pt lead for 1 qtr. And I think Belevue is better than average. You can't make it easy on them. I have never seen Frankfort do anything but fold in 2nd half. So I'm not certain how they did this. I've watched them let at least 3 close halftime games turn into blowouts. Congrtulations to both teams. Sounds like it was a great (or at least fun) game to watch.
  23. Amen. It was a shame that they couldn't hold on.
  24. Yeah VOR, I understand the math, but with the different strengths of districts it could be that it just isn't that simple. Seems that Cooper wasn't a strong #1 and barely had a winning record. I don't know about the other teams. So I guess my question was answered. The Jags may have been looking past them.
  25. For a long time, the tradition has been to move all of the Freshman up. Some years, however, we just didn't have many Freshman and some of them choose not to. Two years ago, I believe only 6 players chose to move up. There are a lot of Freshman this year, I believe it added 14 or 15 kids to the roster.
