I was told this game was being played at 1:00 on Sunday....can anyone confirm??

It was rained out last year but made up with a different format. They played a round robin format instead of the one an out. Simon Kenton ended up winning it last year. It seems to rain every year the Doc is scheduled.

I would have thought Driftmeyer would have pitched. Did he already throw this week? Nice win for the juggs!

Who pitched for Pendleton Co.? Sounds like a decent game.

I believe it was Arron Bush for the Eagles who got the complete game shutout. Both teams looked very solid defensively. It's the first time I've seen these two teams play this season and I came away impressed.

If I were to make a guess based on past years, I would say Ryle, Scott, and CovCath have all seen the parking lot this year.

Most NKY programs have freshman teams which allows them to keep more players in their program. From the kids stand point, if they feel their chances of making the team are good then you will get more to try out. Your still only looking at about 50 players making the team...and that number is on the high end.

I find it hard to believe that Ryle is getting 90 kids out. I would say a better number is around 75.

There are a lot of people talking about what happened last year. Last year doesn't matter. It's what you do in the off-season that matters. What have these teams/players done this past off-season to get better?

Not a knock on Miller and Felts, but what about Castleman? Shouldn't he be the one filling in for Sharp or Whitehead?

Won't even be close. Not a knock against SL, NCH is just that good!
