Featured Replies

I'm a Scott fan so I am new to the 10th. I know Scott will be good this year but i would like to see how 10th region vets would ranked the 10th if the season started today.

How would you rank them on what you do know?

Harrison, Campbell, Brossart, and Clark (in no particular order) to me will be the top 4 teams from last years 10th Region. I have not seen Scott High. Harrison always reloads and most of the time you will see them in the Regional finals. Mason will be very tough with Kellar on the mound. Montgomery and Harrison both lost at least 9 seniors. Should be a fun and exciting year in the 10th Region.

well off that i would put Scott at least 2nd because they beat Campbell and Brossart last year and lost very little.

Easy there bigstick its hard to put a team anywhere in the 10th region especially in the top 3 or 4. I know at least 2 or three teams that also beat brossart and campbell and had a winning record as well.

I was just goin by there top 4. Scott beat both teams pretty handly last year. If there is more teams, insight me, thats why i posted this.

Right and i wasnt tryin do down you or your team either. Harrisson as usual took care of not only campbell and brossart but just about everyone else in the region as well, Clark played Campbell and brossart in a double header at Campbell and won both games most other teams only won one out of the two against these opponents. But Scott from what ive heard will be a contender in the 10th for a top 3 or 4 spot and Im really lookin forward to seein what will happen during the season.

Harrison and Campbell split in the regular season, with Harrison defeating the Camels in the regional finals. Clark beat Brossart and Campbell and lost the first game in the region. Brossart beat Campbell in a short game in the regular season, but Campbell shut them out in the district opener. All I can say is, the regular season is a warm up to the post season and I wouldn't put too much stock in a regular season win or loss. The Camels always seem to play at a different level once the post season comes around.

In baseball, any team can win on a given day. It's not like football where 90% of the time the best team will win. It is also hard to judge how 2 teams will compare in an upcoming season because most of the time people can't exactly predict how much a team really did lose from graduating seniors or whether it will affect them at all.

very true......thats why they play the games

Watch out for Pendleton County this year, they have basically everything back from last year. In case you all forgot, the Wildcats should have beaten Cambell in the District Finals, and Harrison in the first round of region. In both games they lost in the last at bat.

I think most people would agree that Campbell and Brossart should have been in the Regionals, but because it was a random draw for districts, last year that didn't happen.

I am also a Scott supporter and with the people they are bringing next year, I will put them at the #2 spot. They beat Brossart and CC last year so they should be ahead of them in preseason rankings. You have to have Harrison ranked #1 because they won the region last year (i think....)(new to the 10th region)

Scott will be a team to reckon with in the 10th this year, as the majority of their team have been freshmen and JV champs in the 9th the last couple of years I believe; and should be ready to emerge as one of the top Varsity squads in NKY. Campbell and Harrison will be tough as always. The new 37th district with Campbell, Scott and Brossart will be a bear!!

Lots of difference between Freshman and JV championships in the 9th and Varsity District and Regional appearances in the 10th.
