Preseason rankings of the 10th

PC lost everything they had when Joe Verax left.

Joey was a good player for the wildcats but was far from everything they had.He led in batting avg. but that was about it.I would consider him their best pitcher last year but I am not sure he led in wins.Home runs, stolen bases, rbi's and on base pct.were all by other players.I doubt PC would have won a game last year if Joey were the only one on the field.

With all of this talk of the teams honestly it sounds like the region might be pretty even with a lot of great teams . Does anyone think that the 10th could be represented at applbees in the final game. (Although I do realiz this is pre-season anda long way away but....) Could this year finally be the 10ths year to get back to the big dance?

Personally, it would surprise me for the 10th to make it out of the Semi-State this year. But, that is why they play the games instead of letting us decide them here on BGP.

I strongly disagree, once you get there its all about will. Great example of that was last year LCA coming back 4-5 runs in the 6th to beat cov. cath.

LCA came back in a lot of their games in the tournaments last year.Several of them in their last at bat.So like you said once you get their anything can happen.

I think PC will be strong. IMO, Austin Monroe is a heck of a baseball player. He always seemed to hit the ball hard when duty called. I think the Cats have several seniors who need to step and take a leadership role. A few of these seniors have played together since tee-ball and have really learned the strengths and weaknesses of one another. 10th Region baseball is always fun!!!

Of course you do, your still on the team according to your profile...

The reason I don't think the 10th will represent at Applebee's is because I think they play the 9th in the Semi-State. Always tough. Of course so is the 11th. The weakest link in this Section is Region 12. Thoughts from anyone else?

Clark Co. is a senior heavy deep team with 5-6 quality pitchers. I hope everyone keeps over-looking them.

:D You have got me there, maybe I am a little bias, but aren't we all?
