  1. The atmosphere at the game was less than electrifying...the crowds at Camel's home games is definately not a plus for the team. Not that there are few fans just quiet fans. There are times I have to wonder if its an away game. The student section is too busy socializing and the parents/community section is like the old wine and cheese crowd at North Carolina games! Come on Camel fans get off your hands put down your cheese and support the team. Let's make some noise, hey you never know you may have more fun!:jump:
  2. Yes there were many turnovers for each team and in fact Boone had one or two more than the Camels. Boone was 24/31 and Camels were 15/19 from the line. Would like to have seen more consistent officiating but as you can see they were busy on both sides.
  3. You took the words right out of my mouth....if, if, if ..............
  4. Yes that shot from Jolly was in and out! Good look and a good shot. The Camels came out slow again and shot poorly in the first half but fought back against a good Scott team. Nerl played a great game scoring 21 going 3/6 FG; 2/3 3Pt and 9/10 from the line. Jolly also had it going scoring 12. Was very impressed with Murray, Camels will have to defend him better in the Districts. Keep playing hard Camels and learn from your losses.
  5. The Cov Cath game was recheduled earlier in the season so they scheduled the cancelled Boone game to Sat at CCHS.
  6. The Camels started off slow but turned it on in the second half. There was very even scoring with Albrecht 19, Nerl 16, Jolly 14 and Smith 14. Patrick had a very good all-around game shooting 5-5 from the field, 4 assists, 3 steals and 7 boards. It was good to see him more involved in the game in the second half, he is a an overall sound player and a pure shooter. Flanigan for Calvary had 26 points going 6-9 from behind the 3 to led the scoring for the Cougars. Big game Tues against Scott and then Boone on Sat. Go Camels.
  7. Great job this season Coach Maddy and boys! Keep up the great play.
  8. Camels will need to figure out their offense, scoring only 40 points tonight against Brossart is not a positive. Tomorrow's game will be an interesting one for me. Good luck Camels.
  9. Good luck Camels in the finals, bring home a winner.:thumb:
  10. I doubt that Nerl will be back he has an eye injury. We are praying for you Pat! Speedy recovery.
  11. Camels will play the winner of Beechwood vs North Laurel game tomorrow night at 8:30
  12. Well after reading this thread it seems that the Colonel supporters are not IMPRESSED with the Camels. I would think that the first 6 teams that defeated the Colonels were not impressed with them either. I think that if I were the Colonels I would be happy with your first win of the season over a Camel team that did not play very well and lay alittle lower until your wins are at least equal to your losses. As far as the Camels, this was a disappointing loss to a winless team but the coaching staff will need to make the necessary adjustments.
  13. I heard that Albrecht and Nerl played consistent but no other stats. Heard it was a tough fought game but in the end the Camels were able to pull out the win. Next....Cov Cath.
  14. Maybe the relentless D played by the Camels had something to do with this. Brossart seemed totally intimidated.
  15. Wow!! Watched Brossart against the Camels and this is a surprise win to me. Way to go.
