Were you watching the same game I was watching? Did you see those 15 yard penalties on the Chargers for unnecessary roughness?

I know that Brees flopped, but someone on the defense comes through and breathes on Brady and we see a flag.

These unnecessary roughness calls are a little weak, IMO. How do you pick one guy out? Geez, football is supposed to be rough!

I heard an interview today with Ladewski and he said some garbage about being true to the founders of baseball and not wanting Ripken and Gwynn to do what not even Babe Ruth did. His reasoning was ridiculous and his vote should definitely be revoked so he can't do any more nonsense in the next years.

Should be a good game. It all depends on which UHA team shows up. So far, they have played no where near their potential. UHA beat Union Co. on Saturday night in a much closer game than it should have been. Hopson did put down 4 monster dunks, though.:eek: Christian Co. is coming off a close loss to Henderson Co. I'm sure they are wanting to show who is boss in the district.

It was important to get the team's attention in December rather than in late February. The team has yet to play at full strength with all the starters in place and healthy. We will see how they respond to this. Benching Hopson made a very strong statement to the team as far as attitude tolerance goes.

Apparently Marquis contacted Rothschild and wanted to throw for him. Rothschild and Piniella saw something they liked, I guess. I like the fact that both he and Lilly are innings-eaters, which is what the Cubs need. They may not be aces, but if they give us good outings and not wear out the bullpen by June, then that is good for me.

If he turns it over around halfcourt, then he does not get the chance to get fouled!
