I would have never dreamed their would be this much scoring in this game by either team.

Must be one of those nights. I just turned on the radio and Garrard and Breathitt tied 7 to 7 at the half.

Breathitt is stacked with a young team as well. I think their core group is mainly so. and jr. this year. I do not really know that much about Garrard. I suspect if Breathitt is to make any kind of run at all in the playoffs they should win this game by a few. Anything can happen though thats why they play the game. I think Breathitt has improved alot since those first few games of the season. I am going to say that Powell county is the only team from Breathitt's district that loses in the first round and that Estill makes another trip to Jackson in a couple of weeks.

I would say that will be a very good guess, but I am not sure it will be that high scoring.

I think JC will win this game, however I think it will be much closer than most are predicting. Breathitt managed to keep it respectable and I have no doubt Belfry is as good if not better an all around team as Breathitt. I am going to say JC 28 Belfry 21. Belfry may have to try and mix it up some because if I remember JC pretty much stuffed a good Breathitt rushing attack in the 1st half.

Few injuries in this one sounds like. Breathitts QB went out early in 1st qtr.

It happens. I have been on a steady diet of crow after traveling to Belfry a few times in the past. We have won some of those, but have lost just as many. Sometimes in high school football a couple of bad matchups on the field can make a team look alot worse than they are. I will be interested to see how well Harlan can handle Estill. That should be a great game.

We were probably posting at the same time. I felt pretty good about Breathitt winning this game, but I had no reason to believe that it would be by this margin. I think that tough schedule that Breathitt has played is going to pay off for them down the road.
