I'm going to say that's better then 75% of the other high schools!

They aren't in the 14th so it never was an issue with us but I always sort of respected OBI. They take those kids and give them some normal teenage stuff to be involved in, like basketball and very seldom do you see any kind of bad attitudes, etc. out of the kids and they play hard and are competitive. It's a credit to whoever coaches them and the program itself I think. As for the kid not speaking English it's very possible but I could almost gurantee he got there on the up and up.

Losing two or three prime time players would hurt any team. I think this takes LCC from being a contender to the middle of the pack.

Is Alex Williams still playing for Letcher?

Leslie is one team that Breathitt beat a few weeks ago so one could argue that the Bobcats are getting worse! :laugh:

Breathitt couldn't handle the press and neither team played particularly well.

I could have dreamed it all but I doubt it. :sleep:

Hadn't reflected on it but I don't think they did. Knott hit a 3 to start OT and Breathitt seemed to think they had to have a 3 to match it and were consistantly off on their shots.

I think Lee will win this game. From what I've see they are the better ball team. Seemed like Buckhorn had Wolfe rattled all night and had a ton of easy shots and put backs. Why I don't know. They have a good coach and a couple of steller players in Gilbert and Stamper. I think it will be more difficult to exploit the Lee team. They are pretty solid, not flashy but take care of things.

Not a very exciting ball game but Breathitt gets a win anyway.

I'm very happy for you and should you get knocked out in the first district game you can say we had a great regular season! It happens all the time.

Maybe good coach, as in the assistant on the bench does the coaching, the head coach just relays it to the floor, sometimes. I'm not criticizing, it's just an observation by several people, but it seems to work ok.
