  1. Congratulations to Korey Shotwell, a freshman at Campbell Co. High School, who placed fifth and earned the title of All American at the National High School Coaches Association Freshman Nationals in Virginia Beach, Va. Way to go Korey!
  2. Nerl, I believe had 8 points (two 3-pointers)
  3. According to the paper, Josh Cooper had to have surgery last Monday for a knee infection and was not able to wrestle. Would have liked to see him win a state championship and carry on the tradition but not a bad career with six years of placing at state including last years runner up. Good Luck to Josh in his future pursuits.
  4. Down by 5 at halftime the Lady Camels came back to win. Leading scorers for Campbell: Alex Baker 13 Kristin White 12 Katie Kitchen 11
  5. Great game on Friday night with Harrison prevailing in double overtime. Leading scorers: Ladonna Turley - 32 pts. for Harrison Kristin White - 34 for Campbell (5 - 3 pointers) second game in a row with 5 -3s
  6. Campbell Co. won with a split squad. Half the team went to Grant Co. to play. Great defensive game for the Camels. Speaking of officiating, one play I didn't understand was toward the very end of the game. Conner had the ball with 4th down, threw a pass that was caught and run in for a touchdown. However, offensive pass interference was called. They marched it off, it seemed from the original line of scrimmage, but then gave the ball to CC. The announcer said the penalty was declined but that would have resulted in a touchdown. Not sure what happened there.
  7. Just saw on Riherds that Silver Grove won 8-2 vs. Calvary Christian. Don't know any details
  8. Campbell Co. loses to Beechwood 5-3 in the JV semi-final. Beechwood advances to the final today at Cov Cath. (I think against Ryle, not sure)
  9. Campbell Co came back from an 8-1 deficit to win 9-8 vs. St. Henry last night. This game had been delayed by rain in the 2nd inning the other night. They play at Beechwood today at 1pm. I believe the winner will play in the finals today at 5 at Cov. Cath.
  10. The Camels are a young team and played much better in the second half. They will be back next year. Thanks to the two Seniors, Holly and Heather! Good Luck in your future endeavors.
  11. Great game for the Seniors. Brett White scored 26, Marcus Clines had 21, Kyle Schmidt - 6, Braden McCain - 5, and Josh Kramer - 1. Thanks for a great four years. Keep it going!!!
  12. Great Job Brett! A wonderful person on and off the court! It has been a pleasure watching you play. Hope to watch you play some college hoops. Go Camels!
  13. Camels dominated the game. Deming minus three players (1 sick, 1 injured, 1 acedemic). Camels led in scoring by Brett White with 14 in limited playing time.
  14. Great game for the Camels. Led is scoring by Marcus Clines with 23, Brett White with 11.
