It sure sounds like JC has one heckuva rushing attack. Also, won't JC get home field advantage if they play Highlands in the playoffs this year? If this game gets played, Highlands will be the favorite, but I wouldn't count JC out!

In looking at these likely match-ups, I'm now wondering if NKY will go 3-1 in the first round. HHS will almost certainly beat BS, just as JC will beat Holmes. But Woodford County has been struggling recently, and I just wonder if they will beat CCH? Also, I see the Dixie-Ashland game going either way. I think that CCH may have caught a break getting to play Woodford County as opposed to BS in the first round. Right now, I would think that BS is playing better than WC, and with how athletic BS is, I think CCH would struggle more with BS than with WC.

Question: Highlands has a player named Austin Hollingsworth or Austin Hollinsworth (NOT Collinsworth!). I have seen it spelled both ways... which is correct?

Also, the Highlands frosh are 8-1. What is Beechwood's frosh record? Is it 9-0?

Could some Highlands fans in the know post some info about the standout Highlands frosh players and what position(s) they play?

I just can't believe that Central "hasn't met a team that compares to Highlands this year." By nearly all accounts Louisville Saint Xavier is better than Highlands (and maybe by a fairly significant margin, given what Saint X has done to Trinity and the rest of their competition this year). Both teams have faced better teams than what they will see this week (Highlands has played Cincy Colerain and Central has played Saint Xavier). Highlands better work hard this week and come out firing Friday night, or it's going to be a disappointing end to the regular season for HHS.

I am thinking the same thing... this is going to be a whole lot different than Highlands playing Scott in the first round. BS is very athletic, and they are very possibly one of the top 2 public schools in Lexington this year, regardless of class.

Does anyone know what happened to Conner that caused him to have to miss this game with a (re)injury?

I noticed that Ryan Ernst has reported that Conner didn't dress tonight and his leg was back in some sort of cast... that's got to be very bad news with only one game left in the regular season. Man, what a terrible senior year for a guy who had Mr. Football consideration heading into the season.
