Bourbon has a chance at 4 wins this year. The first one is one the road next week. It is hard to imagine that this school won a state championship 11 years ago... This school has run off many good coaches and I am not talking just football...

Will there be another team coming in to replace Station in JC's district?

Not sure what grade he is in, but I have seen him wrestle several times. He can be a state placer this year, but I don't see State Champ.

I believe that is the excuse the AD is using, MC offers everything that Dunbar offers except wrestling. Title IX is not in the way according to people trying to get it approved. I was told that the AD said "their will never be wrestling while I am here". I lived in Richmond for 8 years and even did my student teaching there. I still have friends in the school system and that is what I was told.

I was told that the AD was blocking wrestling from coming to Madison Central and I was also told that it will be approved as soon as the AD retires which would be soon.

True, but no one is going to touch Courtney, no matter what weight class he goes.

I think it is a county problem. I was apart of the athletics in that county and I never seen a community that is so quick to turn on their own. I am not saying all people in that area are bad, because that is not the case. I had the pleasure of working with some great people, but the bad apples ruined it for everyone.

I will go out on a limb and say Harrison Courtney wins state next year.

I think top 20 is stretching it with only about 80 teams in the state. I can easily name 20 states that produce more college wrestlers than we do. Also if you look in the wrestling publications, we rarely have a kid in the top 25 and when we do he is near the bottom, but I do think Kentucky is getting better.

Campbellsville is in their 3rd or 4th season. I believe the Murton brothers are there.
